Title: Definitely not worth $25, but still worth getting despite.
Review: An amazing set! It’s great to finally see these episodes in such great quality after years of watching heavily compressed VHS transfers of TV recordings, and I just found an HD recording of Wednesday Is Missiny to supplement it too! And I just rewatched all of my 2006 Scooby-Doo Movies set and I can confirm that this set lives up to the same quality standards, it looks absolutely excellent. One complaint, I’ve waited like two years to get this because I thought $25 was way too much for this set, but it never went down so eventually I caved. Definitely still worth it, but for a two disc DVD in a basic plastic case, I think this is really only worth between $10 and $15. Warner Bros. is definitely milking us for something they know we can’t resist after years of waiting.PSA! To clarify on the “widescreen” format on the back of the DVD, it’s still shown in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Even on my MacBook’s 16:10 screen it still fills as much of the screen as possible. It’s possible that the “widescreen” thing means it will automatically show it in a 4:3 aspect ratio on a 16:9 screen even if you have your devices set otherwise, which means if you like it to stretch the screen you may be out of luck, but at least it’ll help you learn to watch videos correctly ;), though I cannot confirm that’s what it does for certain as I would never try to do that, but I’m fairly certain that must be what it does because I have no idea what else “widescreen” format could mean in this instance.

Title: Been Waiting Half My Life
Review: First of all, I have been waiting over five years for them to release this DVD. Personally, I thought that this release would never come to be. There are eight of nine lost episodes on this two-disc collection. The only episode not included is the one featuring the Addams Family: “Wednesday is Missing”. It was my personal least favorite. The episodes included on each disc are as follows:Disc 1:1. A Good Medium is Rare - with Phyllis Diller2. Sandy Duncan's Jekyll and Hyde - with Sandy Duncan3. The Secret of Shark Island - with Sonny and Cher4. The Haunted Horseman of Hagglethorn Hall - with Davy JonesDisc 2:1. The Phantom of the Country Music Hall - with Jerry Reed2. Mystery in Persia - with Jeannie and Babu3. The Haunted Showboat - with Josie and the Pussycats4. The Spirited Spooked Sports Show - with Tim ConwayThe quality of the video is great. I am absolutely astonished at how HD this is, especially for an old cartoon! It does have double widescreen - four bars. The box isn't tiny though.

Title: Should be called MOST of the Lost Episodes
Review: Wednesday is Missing the Adam's Family Episode is STILL missing. These episodes really help the show not just be the same guests all the time. I would expect these episodes to be included in any future releases of the series and not need to be purchased separately.

Title: Good quality is most important.
Review: Most of the items that I purchased from Amazon were of good quality, collection of Scooby-Doo was good. Except one , they changed too much of the characters. The Moma can opener opened two cans and stopped working, throw it away.. the dash heater for my car , put out little air , would not defog my windshield let a lone de-ice it .

Review: In the 2000s, Warner Bros released "The Best of the New Scooby-Doo Movies" which actually amounted to those with guest stars to which they had the rights. This collection gives you all but one of the remaining episodes. The missing one is "Scooby-Doo meets the Addams Family."Alternatively, you can buy the Bluray set "New Scooby-Doo Movies" (right here on Amazon) which gives you all the content of both sets, again an almost complete series except for "Scooby-Doo meets the Addams Family."These team-ups are HB's foray into one hour episodes, something they did the following year (1973) with the first season of Super Friends. See Scooby-Doo's gang interact with real celebrities voicing their cartoon counterparts, other cartoon characters, and of course with villains pretending to be ghosts. Lots of humour built around Scooby and Shaggy eating lots of food too. And great art and Hoyt Curtin's music.
