Title: Versatile for many purposes
Review: This lamp arrived on time and well-packaged. It was simple enough to assemble for me as a senior citizen. It looks great and is stable once placed in the desired location. I really like the dimmer, which allows the light to be tailored to need. A great lamp for all purposes!One thing to note: this lamp requires dimmable light bulbs of a specific base-size and wattage. Be sure to keep your specifications sheet. You can get replacement bulbs on Amazon very inexpensively and in a nice variety of shapes, colors, and wattages. I immediately replaced the original clear bulb with an amber bulb that produces a soft, warm light. Nice!

Review: Lamp is nice & worth price paid. Assembly was fairly easy but 4 hands worked a lot better than 2 hands. The lamp shade came rolled up but was easy to assemble with the rings provided. I have never seen a lamp shade liked that till now but was impressed with the final look. I had ordered 2 since price was reasonable & glad I did. Works well and enjoying being able to dim the light. The bulb it comes with it is a soft white LED. Like the black matte finish.

In fact, it can be too bright, especially in the middle of the night, so the manufacturer wisely included a dimming feature. You just take the knob and turn it like this.The shade is made of linen, which adds a touch of cozy nostalgia. The construction is sturdy, and the lamp doesn't wobble—its base is heavy.The lamp is black and will fit into any interior. I wouldn’t say it’s particularly trendy, but it’s just nice.It came with an LED bulb, which I appreciated—I didn’t have to search all over the house; just plug it in and it’s ready to go.The only thing worth mentioning is that the lamp isn’t small; it might be a bit too big for a very tiny room.Overall, this is a great purchase for the money. Review: This lamp is very cleverly designed. I was pleased how easily it went together. The only problem I had is that the light bulb flashed after being on for a couple of minutes. I ended up replacing it, also with a dimmable LED. I don't know why the first bulb didn't work, and I didn't want to unassemble the whole thing to return it.

Review: Assembly was simple, even for this inept geezer. Base is solid and keeps the lamp well balanced. The dimmer knob is unobtrusive but effective with smooth operation. Overall, the lamp looks exactly as I'd hoped!What some might feel is a con: the (gray) shade is NOT of high-end construction, but once assembled it works and looks exactly as it should, so no one will be the wiser without obnoxiously close scrutiny.

Review: I ordered this to replace a halogen tortiere style light in my tiny living room. It arrived promptly in a surprisingly small box. It was easy to assemble once I realized that there were little plastic rings protecting the edge of the threads that had to be removed (this was not referenced in the instructions and clearly I haven’t unboxed many lamps!).Pros: great price; arrived promptly; easy to assemble; offset pole means it tucks nicely into the corner behind my recliner; love the dimmer switch - easy to use and gets very bright if you want it to; nice downcast light for reading. Note to those replacing an upward facing light like I am - although the top of the shade is open, the light cast upwards towards the ceiling will be significantly less than the tortiere style light so the change in light quality to the room will take some getting used to. The light is more focused with this light. I have some other table lamps around the room to ensure all corners of the room are lit.Cons: I’m not a fan of Edison bulbs so I swapped out the one it came with for another LED; I’m not sure how I feel about the white lampshade but that’s an aesthetic thing that can be easily changed in the future by purchasing another shade;Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. Great light for the price.

Review: Only used it a few days but it seems ok. Was hesitant about the shade being shipped rolled up and that you have to assemble it but it was actually easy to do and looks decently passable when complete.Complaints are when you twist all the sections together and bolt on the base they basically end up randomly aligned. You might have the off center base pointing one way and the shade off to another direction. You'll either have to leave loose or else you gotta over torque or come up with something else. I found it too wobbly if I left it loose enough to align how I wanted.Also the pointable light shade doesn't sit flat on mine. Unless I was to grind off a little section of metal it's always gonna rest slightly off level at best. And the cord doesn't come out of the stand at the nicest angle. But that's not a major issue and it's at least relatively well priced and I'm satisfied enough to keep it.

Review: Good height for a floor lamp, easy to assemble. The lamp shade is a wrap-around velcro thing- which potentially makes it easy to take off and wipe down if necessary, but doesnt look tacky. The light is bright enough on the highest setting, and the dial easily and smoothly adjusts to a fairly wide range of brightness. It lights up my small bedroom enough to see the floor around me.
