Title: CSN chordbook okay
Review: The Crosby, Stills, Nash, Guitar Chord Songbook has some songs in it that sound fairly close to the recorded versions, such as "Teach Your Children", but others that, to me do not. Admittedly, I am no great guitarist. Songs such as "Guineviere" are not really approriate, as a finger-style is more suited for that song than strumming chords. There are some good songs in the book that seem fairly accurate. It is difficult to follow the structure of the song "Suite Judy Blue Eyes", and I find the way it is pesented is confusing. Overall, it is a fairly goor guitar chord book.

Title: Several limitations but good list of songs.
Review: Not bad for the modest price but as noted by others the book has serious limitations: No tabs for short riffs, no fingerstyle pattern references (many songs use fingerstyle), some chords also seem incorrect. Book is very small but you can copy two facing pages onto a single 8.5â x 11â page for ease of reference if you are inclined to do so (even though thatâs technically against copyright law). This book is helpful for tuning references, lyrics, and (most) chord shapes. Youâll need a great ear or assistance from other sources to help with fingerstyle patterns and rythm however. On the positive side, there are more CSN songs in this book than similar books offered on Amazon.

Review: Une bonne compilation des titres de ces artistes intemporels, les grilles d'accord et le open tunings indiqués sont corrects, il reste à travailler les doigtés de la main droite (pour les droitiers) et retrouver les harmonies vocales par soi-même!

Review: If you like and aspire to play the great guitar parts in the CSN catalogue, this is a good value Kindle book as it has all the chord diagrams and lyrics. However there is one thing that I found confusing; the instructions about the guitar tuning for each song. Both David Crosby and Stephen Stills used many alternate tunings as well as standard, and several songs show alternate tunings in the book. One particular song that I'm interested inis "In My Dreams", which does not show an altered tuning but obviously does use one (D A D D G C) according to CSN fan sites such as 4WaySite.com. Only being a guitar player for a year, it was only when I tried the chords in the book that I realised what was happening. (Doh!) However, this hasn't stopped me enjoying digging into the book and learning some new chords!
