Title: USA MetroPCS Compatable in 2024. A millenial's review.
Review: This phone is compatible with MetroPCS, however they will not let me continue my grandfathered in old phone plan. They want me to pick another (more expensive) "Flex" plan. I believe this is the case for any phone i switch to, not just because this is a special "dumb" phone. As for the phone itself? Awesome. If you are looking for a phone straight out of 2005 that you can use on today's networks, this one is it. It doesn't lag. It not some Kai-os sudo-android interface running on slow hardware causing lagging and crashing. It's a true dumb phone. The software feels like a true dumb phone. But it also has a few tricks up it's sleeve:- Bluetooth- Dual Sims- Calculator- Flashlight- Micro-SD card slot- Something like 32mb of onboard storage- Plays Mp3's. They can play in the background, so you can have music going while texting someone. Yes, this WORKS WITH BLUETOOTH headphones or your car, and yes, it actually sounds good. Play them off the tiny internal memory or a Micro-SD card. You can also plug the USB cable it comes with from the phone to your computer and access both the Micro-SD card slot and the phone's internal memory as separate drives. So you don't need a Micro-SD card reader on your computer.- FM Radio (doesn't work with bluetooth headphones for some reason, but you can play it through the speakerphone)- Upload your own ringtones and notification sounds. You can store them on the Micro-SD card or the internal memory.- Camera. It's garbage. Even by early 2000's standards its garbage. But it does exist, you can send and receive pictures, store them internally, upload them to your computer through USB, etc. I don't plan on using it, but if my wife wants to send me a picture of something, at least i can see it. You kind of need a camera phone to do that with. Non-camera dumb phones typically don't receive pictures of have screens capable of rendering pictures. This one will do it.It is a little big and cheap feeling, but I don't think dropping it will break it. It has kind of that "jitterbug" old people phone aesthetic more in real life than in the pictures. But as a millennial who's first cellphone was a Kyocera K7 Rave running on Virgin Mobile for 25 cents per minute, this phone has my approval as an official dumb-phone if you're trying to take your life back from phone addiction.

Title: If you are a millennial or older itâs not hard to use
Review: People saying itâs hard to use either didnât grow up in the 80âs and 90âs or are so old they forgot how to use tech from less than 20 years ago. Itâs annoying to revert back to T-9 typing after using smart phones, but itâs not hard to figure out nor impossible. In fact thereâs a great review of this very phone on YouTube showing you how to use it. Thereâs Literally no reason to buy a âdumb phoneâ and then complain about how dumb it is. Itâs not hard. Anyway I got this phone for my daughter. I donât want her having a smart phone. I know about the kids phone plans offered by companies like Gabb wireless, but they are so expensive and a smart phone still has an appeal even if itâs got parental locks. This rugged basic phone here is affordable, and it doesnât have internet browsing or an App Store. It just texts and calls. I didnât even want to buy her a phone, but now that middle schoolers get extra curricular activities just as much as high schoolers I relented. I love how study this phone is. Dropping it doesnât kill it like it would kill an iPhone or Samsung. The true annoying thing about it is that when it turns off and back on youâre locked out. You have to get the SIM card out, write down the PUK numbers on it, and then type in the PUK code to open it up. The screen size is small. Receiving texts is a tad annoying because the resolution is low and large bodies of text may not appear on the same page. Photos are grainy, and It functions in the realm of bare minimum. No touch screen. No bells and whistles. It truly is a phone that has no appeal to a kid/tween which is perfect. She texts her friends a little, but it mostly gets sat down or put away and that makes it a perfect starter phone. T9 makes too much texting annoying, too. So sheâs discouraged from spending a lot of time on it. The only thing I hate is that I canât control spam calls. So I had to teach her about not answering unknown numbers.

Title: It's Eye Candy. Easy To Read Screen. The phone design is very pretty and elegant. Buy it !!!
Review: At first, I didn't think much of the phone when I first saw it on Amazon. I just wanted a simple dumb phone as my backup phone. I noticed the design was pretty - almost toy-like that you want to play with. It also has a removable battery !!! Water-resistant too. All for under $50! It looks so pretty that you want to lick it with your tongue. After I got it, I loved the big number display. The sound is great as well. It also has a big, no-nonsense keypad. No weird number keys - just a simple, straightforward keypad. It's a thoughtfully designed dumb phone with a removable battery and a flashlight. The packaging is great too, with an attractive yellow box. This is my main phone from now on, with my smartphone as a backup phone.UPDATE on June 30, 2024: This 4G phone works very well. Unlike smartphones which you have to jump through hoops to dial a number, or with laggy screen, this phone simply works immediately. I also found out it has a FM radio built-in !!! Speaker sounds great. It also has a built-in LED flashlight for night-time. The LED-lit keypad is a joy to use. And the phone allows dual SIM card !!! What more do you want in a dumb (but very pretty) phone? It's only $50. Buy it.

Title: Terrible product.
Review: This phone is not very good. It appears to be charging correctly when I plug it in. However as soon as I unplug it, the screen goes black. It doesnât turn on, it doesnât show a low battery warning, it basically bricks it. Rendering It a completely useless device and waste of money. I had the phone plugged in consecutively for about 24 hours. No sign of âlifeâ in the phone in the slightest bit. Originally purchased because I want a phone without internet. As well as not having to worry about it breaking easily as the pictures made the phone look pretty durable with the shell essentially being a built in phone case. The size is what I was looking for. Itâs a nice design for a compact phone. Nothing too fancy nothing too small. I would give 0 stars if I could but itâs all gone in the wind for now.

Review: This is a very basic phone which is what I wanted. I found it easy to setup and I can see the buttons and read the screen without my glasses. This is a huge plus for me. It gets two thumbs up for someone who just wants something simple and inexpensive.

Review: The AGM M9 is a smart choice for anyone looking for a basic phone with a long battery life. You can call, text, and listen to music via the FM radio or by loading an SD card with MP3s. And thereâs even a 3.5 jack to play wired headphones. Playing the radio or MP3s ate up the battery quickly, so I didnât use it, but I tested it for the team. :-).One feature I constantly use is the cool flashlight. This is a dedicated flashlight, not just a backlight screen masquerading as a flashlight. It is a bright LED, and being on the top of the phone, it points very naturally. At 115g, the phone fits in any pocket. The AGM has two SIM slots, which are ideal for travelling. The battery is removable and easily swapped. Spare batteries cost less than $20, and replacing the battery takes less than five minutes. The phone is loud, the LED screen bright, and the buttons large with a tactile click.I live in an area with poor cell reception, and the AGM works well making and receiving calls. Texting is possible with the numerical keypad.Thereâs a calendar, calculator, and cameraâall basic but all working.A fast charger and a USB C cable are included in the box, and the manual is easy for even a boomer like me to understand! :-)A basic phone has much to recommend it. They are very affordable and less prone to damage than a smartphone. The AGM can go three days between charges, and an old battery doesnât require expensive service work to be fixed. A basic phone also carries less personal and financial data than most smartphones. With an IP68 rating, it is waterproof and dustproof, so makes a perfect work phone. In conclusion, the AGM M9 is a rugged phone with easy-to-use features.

Customers say
Customers appreciate the design of the cell phone. However, some customers have reported that the screen size is very small, too small for an elderly person to navigate. They also express disappointment with texting difficulty and phone quality. Opinions are mixed on ease of use, functionality, value for money, and build quality.
