How did we get our start?

Mora Ceramics started out when we were newly weds who wanted to spend more time together. Mora is Latin for "slow down" so we thought this name fit perfectly as a reminder to us and others.

You are always being told to do more, to go faster, to be better, but it's time for you to slow down every once in a while and hit pause. Your Mora pans can help you do that. No matter what you're baking, every time you use a Mora pan it is a reminder to hit pause, give yourself some me time, and practice mindfulness.
OPTIMAL SHAPE AND SIZE: Our pan is designed with you in mind with extra deep sides and fluted edges. With the inside measuring 9 inches wide and 2.5 inches deep, it will fit any standard pie recipe. The fluted sides make for easy and beautiful edges, perfect for beginner and experienced bakers.
CERAMIC WITH 20% STRONGER PALADIN CLAY: Only we have Paladin Clay which is 20% stronger than the competitors, giving you stronger and more durable bakeware. Our clay has optimal heat retention to keep your food hotter longer, as well as even heat distribution for evenly baked pies. Our pans are also resistant to thermal shock, meaning they can go from freezer to oven (without preheating), and can handle over 500 degrees F. Dishwasher safe and mother approved.
CRYSTALLIZED GLAZE: Our glaze is lead free, cadmium free, and extra strong to prevent scratches from your metal utensils. Only we produce a crystallized glossy glaze that is strong enough to resist scratches under 1000 grams of pressure. Our smooth glaze allows for easy cleanup, and as always our products are microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe.

Review: Was so happy with this deep dish, very nicely made, well worth the money, good size and a heavy ceramic baking dish. You will not be disappointed with this dish! Highly recommend! Great gift too, so happy I spent a little more than some of the other dishes listed it was well worth it! I ordered the beige, nice color.

Review: I cannot say enough good things about this deep pie dish. It is beautiful, sturdy but not too heavy, easy to clean, and provides even heating. This is my favorite baking dish and I will be purchasing more Mora products. You know when you get a purchase that actually pleases you and that you look forward to using you have a winner. Do not hesitate to buy or gift this item. The item arrives in a gorgeous box and presentation and is more than suitable for gifting. I would purchase it and some other Mora products for an amazing wedding gift. I wish I had this dish for use for all of my baking years prior to now. It's truly a winner!

Review: I agree with the other five star ratings. The quality is exceptional, the size is substantial, and this is truly a multi-purpose pie pan. In addition to baking deep dish pies and casseroles, this pan is excellent as a serving piece or even part of your table decor. The blush color is just lovely and integrates nicely with a wide variety of dinnerware. The pie pan was packed attractively and securely and arrived in perfect condition.

Review: Before buying another Emile Henry pie pan I thought I would give the Mora a try. I am very happy that I tried this. The crusts comes out evenly baked, it cleans up beautifully and it is so pretty. I would definitely recommend this.
