Title: Buy It! So fun!!! Highly recommend for both adult beginners and kids.
Review: I took 1-3 lessons a long time ago & was not having fun learning advanced notes while playing "jingle bells" 250x a day. I had no intention of being the next Beethoven, just wanted to play a few fun songs as a hobby. This book was my second attempt at piano playing and it is perfect for beginners!! It has an extremely concise and descriptive intro which shows you the key locations for those who have ZERO experience playing. (However, I'd recommend doing a Google image search for C & G position just to help visualize it prior to starting). The notes are only for right hand playing, but include possibilities for left hand incorporation if you want to get fancy. The book also says the letter of the respective note inside the notes. For a beginner just looking to have fun, this is really helpful because otherwise you spend a lot of time mentally calculating which note the image portrays.I got this book along with a "Beatles Songs for Kids". This one has many more songs (at least 4x). The kids one is also actually harder! It doesn't include the note letters & does include left hand notes (you can realistically just ignore them if you're not ready, though).I received it yesterday and am already playing "And I Love Her" with enough clarity to at the very least recognize the song! Definitely a must have.

Title: Almost Super Easy
Review: It depends on your skill level as to whether it is Super Easy but...... I am learning new chords, new keys, and new notes with this music. E flat? Easy to sound out and find since I know the song. I've been having much fun learning to play the songs in this book

Title: Easy to use
Review: As a piano plunker, not player, I found this book fairly easy to follow and I enjoyed being able to play some of my favorite Beatle's hits. With a little practice, we should be having a sing a long soon. This book has all the classic hits and if you have a basic comprehension of reading music, you should be able to plunk them out in no time

Title: Great for a beginner
Review: It's true that, like some of the other easy piano songbooks I've used, the left hand chords are only indicated at the top of the page for each song. The sheet music itself is just the right hand/treble clef melodies. But the songs were very well arranged (for this skill level), and provided perfect practice for me (self-taught intermediate beginner). I really enjoyed playing these tunes, and I feel that using this book has helped me improve. Highly recommended for any Beatles fans looking to learn to play the piano.

Title: Awesome
Review: I'm basically self taught on Alfred's Basic Piano Library lesson books. I'm half done with the level 3 book. With that said, I really like the book. It's big print which is easy to read. There are no key signatures, so if notes need to be played # or b the notes are stamped # or b. The left hand chords they tell you to use are already in the correct easy way to play. They have already been inverted, they fit together good. Some songs are not complete. And some songs may be in the wrong key. The only thing that could make this book better for me would be finger numbering. The book doesn't tell you which fingers to use. I will buy all of these super easy song books.

Review: I bought this for my 7-year-old daughter, who is a big Beatles fan, and has been learning the piano for 2 years. She is at RCM Step 1 level (ie before Grade 1).The book has a number of features that make it easy. Firstly and most importantly, all songs have been transposed to C Major. There are some sharps and flats, but they are noted each time. You won't need to practice your scales before trying these songs.Secondly, all the notes have the letter written in (see the 'Look inside' panel above for an example). This is particularly handy for songs that go beyond B in the treble clef (if you're following the Hal Leonard Student Piano Library, then these notes don't get introduced until Unit 5 of Book 2). It's also really good for grown-ups like me, since we can play along without being able to read music fluently. If you're worried that this makes things 'too easy', you could always fill in the notes with a black pencil.Thirdly, all the songs are presented as a double-page spread, which means there's no page turns to worry about. Just another little feature that shows that a lot of thought has gone into making things as easy as possible. Finally, if you get really good at the songs, there's a further challenge you can move on to, which is to play the melody with the right hand, leaving the left hand free for chords. This means the book can continue to provide a challenge beyond the basics. The song choice is excellent; a good mix of material from across all the band's albums, although it's worth pointing out that some of the arrangements are much easier than others: for example, in "Paperback Writer", the left hand bounces between C & G maj (which even I can play), whereas "Penny Lane" is arranged with nine chords, and "When I'm Sixty Four" has a whopping ten. Good job the chords are optional!
