Title: I love this vac
Review: This is a review of the Shark Rocket Ultra-light (box says Pet) vacuum, model # HV301, the orange and gray one that has apparently been around for years and has lots of great reviews. (See photo.) There are other models sold on the same product page, making reading reviews confusing if you don't know which model is being reviewed. Read carefully when ordering, too, to get the model you want.I've only had it a couple of days but so far I'm very pleased with it. It's pulling an appalling amount of embedded dirt from my low pile carpet and does a great job on my hard surface floors. It's very easy to use and isn't horribly loud for such strong suction. It has two speeds, one for hard floors/area rugs or using the attachments, and one for carpet.I'm not used to a vacuum with the motor at the top, but it's not heavy and I love that it lies flat to easily get under beds and swivels around furniture. The cord is about 25 feet long. It includes three attachments: upholstery, crevice, and dusting tools. These and the floor unit can attach to either the long wand or to the upper motor for use as a handheld vac. Simple and very easy to put together or separate the parts as needed. The attachments aren't stored on the vacuum, but I like that. I don't want the added bulk or weight when I'm vacuuming floors. The filters are very easy to change and only need to be removed, rinsed, and air dried once a month. Another smaller filter can go even longer. The long cord wraps for storage and the top motor part can hook lower down so it stands alone anywhere. It will also stand against a wall without moving the top part, but it won't stand alone that way in the middle of the floor. The dirt cup isn't very large but is okay. I wish the dirt cup would detach (as on some other models) so that the motor and cord don't have to be taken to the trash can, but that's one less thing to break and isn't much of an inconvenience. It has a light that lets you know if the roller brush gets clogged, but there are no illuminating lights. The roller cover removes using a coin, although I haven't needed to do that. For me, ease and simplicity of use and the excellent performance in cleaning are the important factors, and this stick vac excels at those. This is a great vacuum especially for the price. I got it on sale but at regular price it's still less expensive than many comparable vacs. Surprisingly it has a long 5-year warranty. This will supplement but won't replace my robot vac which will still be used for frequent, effortless lighter cleanings, but it will replace my ancient, heavy, falling-apart upright which apparently I haven't used nearly often enough, judging by what this vacuum is removing. I'll add this vac to the routine. The robot is great at removing pet hair but isn't nearly as good at removing embedded dirt. I wish I'd bought this Shark sooner.Especially if you have any carpet, or if you don't already have a good vacuum with attachments, I highly recommend this Shark. (No matter what type floor, if you have pets who shed, I also highly recommend the Wyze robot vac for that, between deeper cleanings.)

Title: Vacuum Sucks (Ba-Dum-Ching!)
Review: It doesn't cure cancer, it doesn't fix your marriage (however, using it often may help!) - it's a vacuum, and it sucks! And by that I mean it does exactly what it is supposed to do.I will say, out of all of the vacuums I have ever used, this is probably the easiest to use and certainly least annoying one. It's not super heavy, it's not outrageously loud (it's a vacuum, if it isn't making any noise, you probably have a bigger problem), it's very maneuverable so you can effortlessly putter around your partner who is trying to cook in your very tiny kitchen at the same time as you are testing your new vacuum. The light is bright enough to illuminate all of the crumbs in your kitchen that you didn't know you had, and all of the tiny spiders hiding out in the dark corners (huge plus especially when you're optically challenged like me), and bonus points! If you have a sudden pavement ant invasion in your house, it'll suck all those little suckers right up in no time at all, so you can go deposit them back outside where they belong! Please don't ask me how I know, it was traumatic enough the first time. All joking aside, I would say the only thing I would change about this vacuum is make it so you can wind the cord up on the body of the vacuum itself then just set it on the wand hook for storage, as opposed to having to plug the vacuum into the wand, wind the cord, then unplug and slide the body of the vacuum down onto it's storage hook. That's it!Rinse and dry your filters well after every few uses and you won't lose suction.I have a small space and this vacuum doesn't require a huge amount of spoons to drag it out and use it when I have very little energy to spare, so it was a great choice for my needs!

Title: It isn't "Ultra-Light."
Review: Pros: Powerful vacuum. Very good pick-up; gets under most tight spaces; worked well picking up Border Collie's fur. Has 2 ht .levels for non-carpeted vs. carpeted floors. Needed help from husband to open dirt cup because, he said, "It had a very strong vacuum seal," (also, I have a serious case of "girl hands"). Afterwards, opened up easily. Cord is long for a small space, but I have hardwood floors in every room downstairs (abt 1,600 sq. feet), so I usually need an extension cord if I don't want to keep stopping to relocate the plug (pet peeve) 🙁 I also chose this vac to do my carpeted stairs. My older stick vac is battery powered - even b4 finishing all of my wood floors, the battery dies, and the suction on carpet is puny. I needed a corded vac for power and one I could easily disassemble and use as a hand-held. This one is great for both needs, and picking up pet fur is key. The only real Con I have is that the part you hold, the motor head, is heavier than I thot it would be. After 2 rooms, my hand(s) started to hurt. After 4 rms., (out of 7) arms started hurting. Having said that, my girl hands do lead to girl arms. And I'm approaching 67 yrs old . And I stopped working out 'cus of Covid shutdowns 3 yrs. ago. Don't judge me.;) So the weight of it is subjective. It is reasonable that to get a powerful vac, the motor probably does need to be bigger and I do want the power. Only, I would suggest not calling it "ultra light" but, rather, state how much the motor head weighs in the 1st line of description (admittedly, I didn't actually look at "further details" where a total wt. is probably given, because "ultra light" was in the title.) But , specifically, it's the wt. of the motor head that matters to a weakling like me. 🙂 I removed 1 star due to the "ultra light" description being misleading.

Title: Very Powerful
Review: This is my 3rd shark vac and I am highly pleased with it. It is smaller than my last one, a Vortex, but so much lighter. It lacks an attachment to hold the attachment tools, so I took the attachment from my Vortex that is no longer functional. It needs a bigger & better furniture brush that Amazon sells without this model number listed. But it does fit. It is less noisy than the Vortex, so much lighter & greatly functional. I have used it for a month and love it.

Review: I have another larger vacuum and - honesty - I’d rather burn all the carpets than lug that thing around. This feels like a tree branch compared to that one. Great suction power and gets into decent spaces. The head swivels quite a bit. Does a great job. It’s also one of the easiest vacuums to clean. The roller panel cover is easy to take off (I used a butter knife to unlock the 3 latches) and it’s REALLY satisfying to cut and yank all the hair out of there. The filter is also really easy to clean under the sink and dries fairly quickly (softly ring the water out). Got this on sale and it was worth every penny.

Review: Facil de utilizar muy comoda, remplaza al 100% a una escoba convencional, ideal para aspirar diario en lugar de barrer y mover el polvo de un lado a otro. EXCELENTE

Review: This is better than my dyson! Super long cord! The vacuum unit is super light although I took off stars for weight as when you use it with the floor piece it feels very heavy from the floor head.Comes with amazing attachments for fur and super easy to clean the vacuum itself! When my dyson battery was only lasting 15 minutes due to age I decided instead of replacing it I would get a corded vacuum and shark came highly recommended and I am so glad I bought it!! Never have to worry about the battery dying when you aren't finished a big job again!I have 6 cats and a small child as well as issues with my joints and muscles and this vacuum works perfectly for me.

Customers say

Customers like the weight, suction power, and performance of the vacuum cleaner. They mention it's lightweight, easy to move around, takes up minimal storage space, and works well. Some appreciate that it picks up microfine dirt and is easy to assemble.
