Title: Awesome light rod probably my fav of all my light tackle!!
Review: This rod always gets delivered soon and is the lightest rod I’ve ever used granted it’s only 4’6” but I like that it’s a one piece and you feel even the smallest nibbles and you can throw it all day with no fatigue and I love to pair it with the Zebco micro trigger spinNow mind you it’s a small rod made for crappie and bream and other smaller fish but I catch 1-4 pound bass on the daily with it and even bagged the pictured 8.5 pound monster with this rod and only using 4 pound test which I recommend as the highest you need to useAs long as that drag is set you’re goodNote: it will snap with enough pressure that’s to be expected, I snapped my last one when I got hung and frustrated tugged too hard out of anger and snapped it and then I was really mad but all in all my absolute favorite of my light tackle possibly the one I would use in a survival situation

Title: Absolutely a great rod at a bargain price!
Review: Absolutely a great rod at a bargain price! A joy to use for my ultralight fishing.I was researching to buy an ultralight rod and from the advice of utuber i.fish, I purchased this rod in the 7 foot light action and couldn't be happier with my purchase.Great action and super easy to flick out 1/32 to 1/16 ounce jig heads with soft plastic bodies 50 to 60 ft. I've used this rod with several spinning reels trying 2 lb SOS mono, 4 lb fluorocarbon, and 6 lb braid with a 12' to 15' fluorocarbon leader. All are easy to cast, retrieve, and catch fish!A super value and though I have more than enough rods, I will likely purchase other versions of this great little rod!The only minor complaint I would have is the knurled plastic nut the secures the reel needs to be tightened periodically when fishing. There is no secondary locking nut, just the one plastic nut. The rod is so good in all other respects, I won't even reduce a star for this minor shortcoming of the rod.

Title: Breaks easily
Review: Set the hook on the second cast and the rod snapped at the 4th eyelet.Unfortunately, I bought 2 of the "new model". I haven't put a reel on the second one. They were cheap, and you get what you pay for. Except, I didn't even get that.Bring back the "Titanium Series".

Title: Great pole.
Review: This is the second one that I've had. (Broke the first in the screen door) Super lightweight, great quality rod. Sensitivity makes the little fish feel huge. Performs just like you would want it to. Has great balance to it also. Highly recommend.

Title: Small, lightweight, and handles well
Review: First, the rod came very well protected (see photos). It also had heavier plastic sheathing on the cork parts of the handle. I kept that on the gripping area because it felt fine and I usually get fish slime on my hands and it keeps the handle pristine. I usually use a long rod for crappie fishing ~9', so I had to get used to casting lightweight jigs with it (Pro tip: let go of the line well before the point you want the lure to land). At any rate, paired with a small reel and light line (I used 2 lb test), it worked quite well. Under load, it flexes nicely. All in all, a nice little rod for smaller fish, tight places, or little hands (note to self: get one for granddaughter).

Title: Not bad but not my Ugly Stik Ultra Light
Review: I put 6 pound braided line and took it out fishing. A turtle went for my top water lure and the rod snapped trying to retrieve it. I’m sure this rod will hold up on small fish species and small bass, but didn’t get the chance to try.

Review: Very good quality UL rod on budget. The Shakespear brand always makes quality long lasting material and this rod doesn’t disappoint. If you are looking for the most flexible and bendable UL rod out there this micro series is the one. At 7”6” feet this rod bends on a rock bass like if you have a massive musky on your line. Maybe a bit too flexible for my taste though. It came in a large box, very well protected. It is the first time they ship a rod with a large piece of cardboard glued around the end tip to protect it from breaking. Unfortunately I had to return because the rod came in 1 month late and I bought another one instead. Still, this rod is unbeatable for it’s price. You just need to take extra care of it because of the fine tip that is easily breakable.
