In Sullivan’s Crossing, #1 New York Times bestselling author Robyn Carr has created a place where good people, powerful emotions, great humor and a healthy dose of common sense are the key ingredients to a happy life. Sullivan’s Crossing brings out the best in people. It’s a place you’ll want to visit again and again.

Dr. Leigh Culver loves practicing medicine in Timberlake, Colorado. It is a much-needed change of pace from her stressful life in Chicago. The only drawback is she misses her aunt Helen, the woman who raised her. But it’s time that Leigh has her independence, and she hopes the beauty of the Colorado wilderness will entice her aunt to visit often.

Helen Culver is an independent woman who lovingly raised her sister’s orphaned child. Now, with Leigh grown, it’s time for her to live life for herself. The retired teacher has become a successful mystery writer who loves to travel and intends to never experience winter again.

When Helen visits Leigh, she is surprised to find her niece still needs her, especially when it comes to sorting out her love life. But the biggest surprise comes when Leigh takes Helen out to Sullivan’s Crossing and Helen finds herself falling for the place and one special person. Helen and Leigh will each have to decide if they can open themselves up to love neither expected to find and seize the opportunity to live their best lives.

Don't miss Robyn Carr's next uplifting novel, The Friendship Club, where four women come together at a tumultuous time in their lives, forging an unbreakable bond that will leave them all forever changed—available January 2024!

Title: Wonderful
Review: I think Leigh and Rod’s story was great! I especially loved aunt Helen because she made Sully so happy. Sometimes in life we take our past way too seriously when we should be moving forward and finding out what makes us happy. I think Leigh was holding on to a hurt (like most of us do) that did not serve her well and made her close herself off to love. Rod was the same, worrying about the extreme loss but when they relaxed and embraced the present they started to actually live and love. One thing I learned as I started this book is, this is a TV series 😲. I will be taking part in seeing these wonderful characters on the screen. I can’t recall if there is a book 5 but either way book 5 or TV series I will be head back to Sullivan’s Crossing.

Title: Lovely stories!
Review: I love all the characters and the Colorado backdrop! Only thing that bugs me is describing going UP to Denver and Boulder from the mountains. Denver and Boulder are DOWN on the plains. You go up into the foothills and mountains. Otherwise these books are great.

Title: Another great book from Robin Carr
Review: I love Robin Carr books. They make me want to visit these towns and people and see all the beautiful scenery. I believe I have missed a few in the series but I will remedy that soon.Leigh was raised in Chicopee by her aAunt Helen. Her life in Chicago as an emergency physician aim a private practice was hectic so she decided to move to this small town in Sullivans Crossing to run a medical clinic. Rob is a widower sho has raised two teenage boys and opened a successful Pub. They have know each other from her visiting his pub but things take a turn when he brings his son to her clinic with a serious hand injury. I loved both those teens. He raised then to put family first be respectful to others and know that you work for the things you want in life.I enjoyed their journey to their HEA. The relationship that developed between Helen and Sullly was possibly even more fun.I recommend this for a feel good book that makes you want visit also.

Title: LIFE HAPPENS WHEN YOU'RE MAKING PLANS...
Review: Dr. Leigh Culver loves practicing medicine in Timberlake, Colorado. It is a much-needed change of pace from her stressful life in Chicago. But it’s time that Leigh has her independence, and she hopes the beauty of the Colorado wilderness will entice her aunt to visit often. Helen and Leigh will each have to decide if they can open themselves up to love neither expected to find and seize the opportunity to live their best lives. My Thoughts: From the very beginning of The Best of Us, I was caught up in the town of Sullivan’s Crossing and the village of Timberlake, enjoying the recurring characters from previous novels, and meeting new ones.Leigh was one of the new ones to me, and when she met Rob Shandon, the handsome guy who owned the local pub, she thought going out with him would be pleasant. What she didn’t expect was to fall for him. Just when she thinks everything has settled in nicely, though, something happens that changes their lives and forces them to make plans. Plans that will have to take into account Rob’s teenage sons, Leigh’s aunt, and the unexpected logistics of their combined lives. What will they realize about how the plans they already had were not necessarily the best ones for them, and that they can find joy in unexpected places? A delightful read that reunited me with old friends in a lovely setting. There were predictable moments, but I enjoyed them all. 4.5 stars.
