Title: Fantastic results, affordable price.
Review: I had a couple of bootleg concert recordings on cassette tape. I no longer had a deck to play them, and wanted to digitize them before the tape gave out. Other options were basically dongles and buying a new deck, so I took the plunge on this device, and I'm glad I did.The build quality reminded me of an old Walkman, only with a rechargeable battery. Zero issues with operation. Playback with the internally housed speaker was minimum, but it worked and was clear, decent on high/mid/lows, and a reasonable volume.Connection to Audacity via the included cable was a snap, and I appreciated the ability to record with a standard 3.5mm output as well. Lossless recording was possible through the included usb-c adapter and Audacity.After a few test recordings to set the levels on the device (very important, don't skip this), I was off. Both recordings came out flawlessly. If you need to save the contents of a cassette tape, this is a fantastic way to do it losslessly. Highly recommended.

Title: The Perfect, Modern Tool for Audio Cassettes
Review: I was working on a video for our church and needed a way to pull some audio off of an old audio cassette. After looking through my options, I settled on the Reshow Portable Walkman Cassette player. After spending some quality time with it, I definitely think I made the right decision.This is a high quality cassette player that feels like it just fell out of 1990, albeit with some modern improvements. To get started, all you need to do is pop a couple of AA batteries in the back and a cassette in the front and you're ready to go. You can hit play and you'll immediately hear sound coming out of the onboard speaker. While the sound out of that speaker isn't going to blow you away, it's loud enough and serviceable. And let's be honest, nobody listens to a Walkman that way anyway. That's what the convenient headphone jack is for. The sound is great for the headphones - or at least, as great as a cassette can offer. And the play, stop, record, etc. buttons all feel nice and solid.To put it simply, it's a great little Walkman. But that's probably not the main reason you're looking at it.You're wondering how well it records audio from cassette to computer. And I can say that it works perfectly. It's got a USB-C output that makes it super easy to hook up to a computer. And it took no work at all for my computer to read it and for me to begin recording onto Adobe Audition.All in all, it was a simple solution. I'd call it the perfect modern tool for audio cassettes, whether you're hoping to record some to a computer or just listen to some old tapes while you go on a jog or do work around the house.

Title: Easy to use. Great for transferring old cassettes to digital.
Review: I bought based on the reviews and was very happy with this cassette player. It served the exact purpose I needed, transferring old cassettes to mp3 files. Audacity is pretty intuitive as well. My only suggestion is to when downloading the software, choose the latest version of the program fits your operating system. I was accidentally downloading the entire folder (all the programs) when I only needed the latest. Once over that hump (my fault), it was smooth and easy and worth the price.

Title: Good player at a great price
Review: So i've got hundreds of cassettes, a lot of 7" records that i put on tape back in the early 90's, or mixtapes i made when i listened to long-forgotten stuff.a couple of years ago i bought a cheap chinese walkman clone, but the sound was garbage, the mechanism was cheap, and overall it was just junk that wasn't worth listening to.fast forward a couple of years, and i see in the nytimes wirecutter that they picked the best portable cassette players. another unit got highest marks, but it was over $100...insane. this reshow player was was recognized as the best for the money, and it's less than $50. also wirecutter noted that all the brands used the same transport mechanism, so it may not be bulletproof, but i felt like i could trust it to be comparable to any other brand.anyway, got it in, plugged it in, and it works great. sounds really good too, and has usb/etc connectivity in addition to a standard 1/8" jack out. bottom line, i'm glad i ran across this unit, and i'm happy to share this to other folks trying to find a player worth buying in a sea of cheap junk.

Title: Reshow cassette tape player
Review: I really love this product! very good quality. Works very well. I've played alot of dokken and queensryche on it! I listen with some good headphones i definitely recommend listening with headphones and it also has its own built-in speaker if you want to listen without phones. The volume is great it can get pretty loud. I like it better than streaming music. It's lightweight and fits perfectly in my pocket so I can take it anywhere with me. The battery life is pretty decent I don't have to change them very often.Very nice product to own.

Title: If you want a more portable version to record instead of a boombox, this is it!
Review: There are so many things to do with this unit. First, I like the way you can actually record in stereo using the auxiliary input jack. Second, the converter is amazing! You can use whatever recorder software that you have and you can capture your cassette tapes for conversions that way. Also, since I have a phone with a USB-C on it, I can record using that as well using different Recorder apps that supported. Also if you want to do mixtapes instead of a boombox, you can use whatever input device that you want that will work with auxiliary input to this device and make a mixtape out of it.Two things to note here: you have to turn the volume to the unit all the way up to record the mic and the input, as well as the capturing part. The second thing to note is that there is a speed calibration thing in the back of the unit which you have to use a very tiny flathead screwdriver to fix the speed of the tape if you want the right speed.The sound is quite decent for this unit, especially with the speakers. And it’s stereo with the headphones only and the capturing part, which is nice! Overall, this unit works for all of the needs that you guys need. If you have any questions, just ask in the Q&A section of this product, and I will be happy to answer any of those questions that you may have.And the main thing is, I love this unit for what it needs and what it does.
