Title: When they say big they aren't exaggerating
Review: This kit was fantastic. It is about 4x the size of the smaller ones from this same company that come two to a box. It was well packaged, tightly wrapped pieces that were then held secure along with the rest of the items on a cardboard tray and wrapped. Then everything was wrapped in bubble wrap. There was plenty of icing to assemble this house, two of the smaller ones and a small locking one. We haven't decorated them yet to give them all time to dry, but the amount of candy is ok. I like a lot more than they provide with any kit. I was really impressed with this company's packaging though. I ordered two of these and six of the smaller ones and not a broken piece in any of them. Icing held well and fairly quickly. Easy assembly as a result. One caution on this large one don't accidentally push in the middle when attaching the roof. Push only on the edges. Mine split nicely in half because I wasn't thinking. Still held up and attached just fine though.Picture attached, this kit is on the far right (the largest of the three)

Title: stale
Review: my grandkids complained because gum drops were rock hard and candies were stale. When I filled the pastry bag and gave it a squeeze it ripped open at seam! What a mess. The green fondant was rock hard and unworkable. I have used the kits in the past and never had these problems. I do not recommend this one in the future. The family referred to it as the gingerbread shack.

Title: Icing doesn't taste good.
Review: All pieces fit together nicely. Icing didn't have an appealing smell or taste. (you know its going to be tasted!)Candy was plentiful with some left over. We ate the gingerbread cookies. They tasted ok but the icing was awful tasting.

Title: Large gingerbread house kit - not broken when delivered
Review: This is the first time I ordered a gingerbread house that was not broken when it arrived. Last year the grandkids were so disappointed that the gingerbread house came broken. So this year it will be fun since the gingerbread house is intact!

Title: Well Built
Review: I ordered 4 houses from different companies. This house was by far the best baked, packaged and shipped. Upon opening the box, each piece was individually plastic wrapped then all of the pieces were bubble wrapped. Definitely worth the money. Plus, of the four I purchased, this was the largest. I will purchase this brand again next year.

Title: I do not recommend.
Review: Not your ordinary gingerbread house. I like to make these so the house smells good during the holidays. This kit was a disappointment in that department, it doesn't smell like gingerbread. The frosting provided was unusable. I opened it and not only did it smell like plastic but it was almost clear. I noticed that it came from PRC. Is everyone seriously thinking that we don't know that means China. I certainly would never let anyone eat this, quality control is lacking.

Review: I bought this is a gift and watched the kids, with adult help, be thrilled putting it together. They were able to do it and the house is substantial and not flimsy. Good product.

Title: Structurally Impossible
Review: Kit was missing more than half of the gigerbread pieces; an outside wall, the roof pieces (2), and a gingerbread person weren't there. I didn't have time to return/reorder so, into the trash it went.
