Title: Such a great start
Review: I don't know how this will perform once the snow drops, so I will come back and update when I know. What I can say right now is that this is lighter than my snowblower and it's going to be great not having to lift it. This feels sturdy and is heavy enough to push through without extra work. The two batteries are going to make a phenomenal difference. Instead of being corded this year, I can simply switch out batteries to complete the job. I love that you can push the button on the battery to see how much charge is remaining. Better to be prepared 😉 I am so excited to use this during this Winter season. Highly recommended.

Title: Best for small snow shoveling jobs
Review: The DEVONIC Cordless Snow Shovel,24 Volt 13 Inch was delivered just before the first snow storm so I am able to review this with actual snow.I had difficulty figuring out how to adjust the handle so that it would be comfortable. It isn't the most comfortable or ergonomic shovel, but it will do for a small job.The snow from the storm was extremely wet and when I pushed the snow thrower through the snow, the snow would begin compacting in front of the thrower head and prevented the snow to reach the rotating blade. It was more effective when I when I overlapped my strokes, so that only one edge of the face of the blade was pushing through the snow.In the attached video I was holding the end of the handle somewhat low, but I realized that by raising it higher (increased angle in relation to the pavement) the rotating blade was able to catch some of the bunching snow and throw it. This also made for a cleaner plowed path. An improvement for the next version of this would be the ability to adjust the handle angle at the shovel head, which would allow for the head to have a higher angle against the pavement without having to lift the handle. To operate, the power switch on the handle must remain depressed because there is not an option for it to run continuously after turning it on like other yard tools. This caused cramping in my hand.An observation is that any snow that was able to reach the rotating blade was thrown without difficulty. This electric shovel had no issues with throwing slush.I discharged both batteries while shoveling. Unfortunately the charger is not quick, so you will have to wait a couple of hours for the battery to be recharged. The shovel only throws forward which makes it a little difficult when you don't want the snow to go directly outward in front, so when it is being used for a long walkway, the user needs to adjust their angle of attack in respect to the walkway so that snow will be thrown to the side instead of further down the pavement. If you have a large pavement area that needs snow clearing I recommend something else, but this is great for a small area or even a porch.I rate this four stars for the ease of use, not needing liquid fuel and ability to make a clean pass. Deductions are due to not being ergonomic and causing my hand to cramp while using.

Title: So excited to use this snow shovel this winter!!!
Review: We live in the Northeast and tend to get a decent amount of snow. We've always used regular shovels, but we're getting older so I was super excited to order this for hubby to try out. It comes in a huge box and everything is packed well. The shovel is intact, but you will need to rotate the handle, adjust length of the shaft, etc., then lock everything in place. In addition to the shovel, two battery packs, a battery charger, and a screwdriver are included. The instructions aren't the best, but we were able to figure everything out.We don't have snow yet but I did charge the batteries and place them in the shovel to see if they worked. Everything seems good, so I'm looking forward to our first snow (can't believe I'm saying that). This shovel is fairly lightweight but nothing seems flimsy. It will shovel a path that is about a foot wide, so we'll have to do at least two passes (maybe three) for our sidewalk. This unit isn't nearly as loud as I expected, but maybe it will be louder when it is actually throwing snow - we'll see. At $124 (current price less coupon), this is a great value and would make an amazing Christmas gift.Once we get some snow, I'll come back and update my review.

Title: Needs adjustment after shippment
Review: The snowblower ships partially assembled and in a very large box. In my case the box the snowblower was in was inside of another larger box. I don't like to see so much wasted packaging. The snowblower itself feels sturdy. The handle ships mis-aligned, I assume due to the packaging. The top part of the handle needs rotated 90 degrees, so the handle points down instead of 90 degrees to the right. Even with the screw loosened I had to pull the plastic bracket further apart to get the handle rotated. There is no mention of this in the instructions. Also, some of the drawings in the instructions show different parts to the snowblower.I ran the snow blower on a trial run, without snow. I'm anxiously awaiting the first measurable snowfall so I can give this a run. Given the direction the snow is blown, to the front, I'll need to be strategic about the direction of snow removal. Our front entrance walkway is wood and has rails on both sides, so going from side to side would be best but is not practical. I may just end up blowing it forward and having to re-blow it once I'm off the front wooden walkway.I am taking off 2 stars for the packaging and configuration as shipped without better instructions. I may update this review to a better rating after use with the first snowfall depending on performance and experience with the snow blower.
