One night with the drop-dead gorgeous billionaire rancher next door left me with a life changing secret – and it’s growing bigger by the day....
I moved to my aunt’s small town for a fresh start, not to fall into bed with the most eligible bachelor in town.
But from the moment I tripped out of my Uber and locked eyes with Jake, the brooding single dad with a chip on his shoulder, I knew I was in trouble.
I should have walked away when he called me a city girl.
I shouldn’t have flirted with him over beers and bull rides.
And I definitely shouldn’t have accepted his challenge to skinny dip under the stars.
But when you’re running from a failed marriage and a business that broke your heart, a fling with the local cowboy feels like the perfect distraction.
Now I’m knee-deep in ranch work, planning his family’s big event, and falling for his daughter just as hard as I’m falling for him.
He may have sworn off love, but the way he’s raising his daughter alone shows me the kind of man he really is.
But when two little pink lines flip my world upside down, I realize I’m in deeper than I ever imagined.
Jake’s not looking for love, and I’m not ready for another serious relationship, but there’s no hiding the secret that will change both our lives forever.

Title: Opposites
Review: Scarlett, a city girl leaving her life behind to start over. Jake, a cowboy that came home to continue his familyâs legacy. Having an accident on second meeting led to strife. The next time chemistry rained and no strings attached. Too bad feelings were caught but miscommunication and stubbornness would be the death of any relationship.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Title: Life after Divorce
Review: Jake thought he was fine living on the family farm with his teenage daughter. He had to step up and take care of the farm a lot earlier than he thought after the sudden death of his father. Scarlett stirs something in him to let go and have fun. He thinks Scarlett is meant for the big city and does not want to stay in the small town and be stuck with a rancher. He keeps pushing her away, but it's more to protect himself. Scarlett meets his ex-wife and tells herself there is no way he wants a woman with hips and curves forever. His ex-wife contacts him to sell their house, but he discovers she lost her modeling contract and wants him back. No way is going to happen. She does help him win Scarlett.

Title: Hotter Than Hallmark and With A Happily Ever After
Review: Brooklyn Coxâs book about a divorced, sexy rancher with a teenage daughter and a redhead with a fiery personality is well worth the read. Jake and Scarlet end up being perfect for each other. Both Jake and Scarlet believe the other wouldnât want a lasting relationship because their lives are so different. The story is well-written, and the characters are so easy to like. I was captivated from beginning to end and was pleased with the happily ever after ending. I received a free ARC and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Title: Unexpected Love
Review: An unexpected love. This novel was filled with the perfect balance of love and turmoil. I couldn't pull my eyes away from reading. Title: Jake and Scarlett
Review: I just loved Jake and Scarlett's story neither of them was looking for a relationship but fate had other ideas. Jake was content living on the family farm with his teenage daughter, even though he had to take on the responsibility of the farm earlier than he expected due to his father's sudden death. But then he met Scarlett who affected him and made him think about having fun and letting go even though he believed she would leave and go back to the city. His feelings make him feel vulnerable so he pushes her away. But his daughter can see his interest in Scarlet and encourages him to risk his heart again and give love another chance.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Title: Cowboys ... yep.
Review: No lie ... I read all of Scarlet's dialog with a Southern country accent. Never mind that she was from California and Jake was the Texan.I loved this. Well written. A NICE love story, with enough SPICE to keep interest. I don't think Jake was all that grumpy except that one time.I look forward to more from this author.
