Review: This is a great book to refer to often. Recipes for skin and hair products. My mom rinsed my hair in lemon water when I was a young girl. Food Recipes included. I haven't done this yet but looking forward to making GARLIC AND LEMON SPAGHETTI. Mashed Potatoes with Lemon Zest. Lemon Curd is one of the things we always request for our High Tea we attend yearly. This book has four recipes for Lemon Curd one is an easy recipe for the microwave. Small jar of Lemon Curd is $6.00 at a local restaurant chain. It is a good homemade gift item. Title: Lemons are a versatile fruit
Review: There is a basic history and overview at the beginning. It's brief -- and then the book is divided into different categories (uses in food, drinks, household cleaning, etc). There are plenty of recipes in each category. The author keeps things simple. It's super easy to follow. I consider that the best thing about the book. Personally, the simplicity of it makes me want to experiment beyond the hair care and drink recipes that made me want to buy this book in the first place.Definitely interesting, and a nice thing to have around the house. Especially for those looking for alternatives to chemical based cleaning.

Review: This book is a comprehensive compilation of recipes that you can make at home for skin, hair and more.It is even an interesting read because it explains the benefits in detail. ALL the store bought products areoutrageously expensive but we have all we need in the simple, little lemon. I was already drinking warmlemon water in the morning, noon, night, and whenever I go out to a restaurant. I just didn't realize thebenefits. I just thought it was really good and refreshing. If being healthy and frugal is your wish then thisis the book for you. Plus, I feel clean just thinking about the next recipe that I'm going to try.

Review: Lots of great info on lemons. Everything from cleaning to cooking. Not very extensive in the cooking aspect so you won't find a ton of recipes (I.e not a cookbook) but for those who like green cleaning this is a decent resource.

Review: I thought the recipes were good, very useful. I was pleasantly surprised to learn a few things, too! The skincare recipes were great; so simple, and much less expensive than commercial beauty products. The assorted beverage and dessert recipes sound really delicious...can't wait to try some of them. This little book is packed full of useful ways to use lemons, lemon zest, and lemon oil...I do recommend it!

Review: Informative and a delight to read. I have always been a fan of lemons. It is such a clean crisp smell. Just never knew there were so many other uses for lemons. I will be trying quite a few of the uses given in this book, including the cooking recipes. The one that stood out for me was using lemon juice and water on your white clothes instead of bleach. Anything that is an alternative to using chemicals sold me.

Review: Well what a lovely surprise. I ate lemons when I was at school, I used to get one lemon from the grocery shop near my school. and eat it on the way home Not knowing that it was doing me the power of good. I didn't like school much and my best friends would go down with coughs and colds and other things, and have time off. But Me never. I think it was all down to good genes and the lemons. Now much older I have started to take them again. I just squeeze half a lemon into a glass, and add pre boiled aired water to top it up, and down the hatch. It does taste lovely and it has so many advantages. It cleanses your mouth ( I wish I could get our dog to drink it). It relieves that horrible cattharal taste in the morning. It is a germ buster and a tonic. It detoxes and you can lose unwanted weight. It is a painkiller too. Add some honey to it and you will sleep better and it is soothing to a chesty cough.So very cheap and easy to make yourself too, which can be an advantage. The other advantages are in cleaning and for your skin and hair. I came out in a really bad itchy rash ( I think it was through using too much hairspray) My scalp felt hot and very itchy, and as I have medium length hair, my neck got all pimply, I washed my hair in an Essential oil shampoo and for the final rinse put half a lemon's juice in the sink and topped it up with warm water, and bunged my head in the sink. I left it like that pouring the water over the back of my head, and left it for about a minute. The itch had gone completely. the pimples took a while longer. You will be surprised as I was at the amazing lemon.
