Title: Great basic griddle
Review: I first bought this model several years ago. It saw regular, rather heavy use. Although it is dishwasher safe, we couldn't fit it into our dishwasher, this may vary by model of dishwasher. But it is still very easy to hand wash, since you don't have to worry about getting the contacts wet during washing.After several years, including a move, it finally needed to be replaced. It still worked fine, but due to storage issues and carelessness, it had developed some chips and minor cracks in the legs and the outer plastic housing. It is plenty sturdy, it just had a hard life because our new kitchen had serious storage issues and we were not as careful as we should have been.So, after reading lots of different listings for various griddles, I finally decided that we had been happy enough with the old one, that it was just best to replace it with the same model. Fortunately, the product is still available, and from reading reviews it didn't seem like the quality had changed.We've been just as happy with the new one. I worked out a better storage system that won't leave it vulnerable to damage.It does have some areas that are slightly hotter than other areas, I think that this is inevitable with any electric griddle of large size. It's very minor, it does not affect the performance. The only times that I notice is when I'm intentionally looking for it, so I make some large pancakes to see for myself what's happening on that surface. Even then, the hot spots are minor, things do cook evenly, the only thing of note is that the surface of a large pancake might have some spots that are slightly less dark than other spots.I've cooked everything from sunny side up eggs, pancakes, sausages, bacon, grilled sandwiches, tortillas, and more. I've been happy with everything that I have cooked with this. The grease tray is big enough to catch all of the rendered grease from a full 1.5 lb package of bacon (thinly sliced, so this covered the entire surface of the griddle) without spilling.

Title: Well Designed, large griddle surface, even cooking.
Review: I had a medium-sized griddle that we used a lot and the anti-stick surface had finally seen its better days we we researched and bought this griddle. Very nice griddle. No complaints. Works as advertised. The only thing I noticed that doesn't't have to do with the griddle performance is its so large, it doesn't fit in our double sink. It hangs over any side of the sink so when you go and wash it you have to (concentrate) or you will have soapy water splashing all over the counter. It's that large. Otherwise, we really like the griddle.

Title: Very nice grill
Review: I love it, just got it today and made pancakes and bacon. Nice even heating, warmed up quickly. No problems with it just tilting on its own like some have stated. Cleaned right up, I wiped it with paper towels and then a soapy sponge then just a wet sponge, dried it with paper towels. The grease trap is easy to clean just fold up a paper towel and slide it into the grease slot and wipe.. it's my first grill and Im impressed. Looking forward to many good meals cooked on it. Oh yeah it's big I could have cooked the whole pound of bacon on it at once but cut it in half and did just half a pound.Yes I would recommend it.

Title: Big cooking surface
Review: Happy to be able to fry a pound of bacon at one time. Nice big cooking surface. Does not get hot enough underneath to effect my butcher block counter. Always a plus. Tilt is a nice feature, just remember to put back to flat afterwards. Cleaning is easy but cumbersome. Easy to store. Only negative is it does have uneven heating. Especially in the center. Not surprise because they all do. Takes some getting used to but would definitely recommend.

Title: Love! Don't know how I've never owned one of these!
Review: I know this may be a little premature since I've only used this twice but I am loving this. This thing cooks food in large amounts, quickly, and thoroughly! I first made pancakes 1st day I received this. The first couple didn't cook thoroughly and that was my fault. Made another batch and cooked beautifully! This morning I made bacon, sausages, and scrambled eggs. All I can say is wow! I strongly recommend you have everything prepped and ready to go. I will even say to separate the bacon before starting, if you can. Once you start cooking on this, it just goes super fast non stop. I've read where someone said bacon does not cook evenly on this. 1 pack of bacon cooked in 8 minutes, I was shocked. I just kept flipping here and there and removed them as they got done! It cooked quickly, beautifully nice and crispy. Also, the grease drained out into drain dish just fine. Got 3/4 cup of rendered bacon grease! Yes some grease sat on top, i just helped it to the drain dish, or you can use paper towel to absorb the grease. No biggie! Sausages and scrambled eggs cooked beautifully! I just made sure to wipe with paper towel carefully in between the different foods i was cooking. As far as cleaning, this griddle is huge and i have a standard size sink, so, for me, any pans that i have to clean in my small sink, especially when greasy, can be a little pain. But it is easy to clean. When I finish, i dry with towel and leave itnout to make sure everything in between dries! I am loving this so much so far and i hope this lasts for a very long time. I know I only used twice but it did not disappoint! Can't wait to make burgers on this!

Review: So far, this griddle is great. It heats up quickly and has a much more even heating pattern than my last griddle. The size is large enough to cook 12 pancakes at once. I bought it for pancakes and have not tried it for anything else, but I will soon. So far, so good.

Review: Bought it three years ago last month, use it for breakfast at least once a week and making burgers at least once a week for a family of 6. I've owned several griddles over the years... This one is the best and most reliable. It does have a cold spot in the middle but it's my only complaint. Appart from never using metal utensils on it, im not exactly kind to it, store it with stuff on it, sometimes sideways in the cubbard, gets banged around, yet still gives my burgers a nice crispy browned side every time. Highly highly recommend.

Review: This is my second purchase of this griddle. It's a good size and my family of 5 uses it often. Often enough that the surface started to degrade and it when it was time to get another I sought this one out for purchase again.The unit shipped, but it was missing the drip tray. I contacted Presto directly, but they don't sell this unit in Canada nor is their a warranty in Canada. Customer services sounded like they were willing to ship me the missing piece, but the shipping cost would be mine.I have the drip tray from my old unit and it fits fine. I don't want to pay for shipping and I don't' want to hassle with an amazon return. I will keep it and use my drip tray from my old unit.Good unit, just missing pieces.
