Title: Excellent instructions
Review: Clear and precise instructions. You need to have basic electronics experience to install. I installed ours in an hour. You need to have 2 circle terminal adapters, 1 female spade connector, and 1 butt connector on hand to simplify your install. Worked perfectly and immediately noticed the unit was more quiet even while still in learn mode. Highly recommend it. I can't wait to put a generator on it and see the difference.

Title: Doesn't last
Review: After less than a month it stopped working. Upon inspection I noticed a brown liquid leaking inside, probably capacitor electrolytes.I've started reading forums and reviews from other customers, this seems to happen a lot on this new FLEX model. Pretty disappointed for a product that costs almost $400.

Review: Never worked in my 2.5 ton AC system the led green light never on and the device was receiving power. I think it was defect but I didn't want to spend more time to troubleshoot

Title: build quality first rate
Review: weather proof enclosure, about half size from previous models. main cable is extremely tough and long enough for "normal" installs close to cabinet. One box to rule them all ! It will support all previous BTU sized air conditioner compressors, no need to get one fit for a specific tonnage, If you later upgrade to a bigger unit, when the old dog dies, there will be no need to get a different easy start.

Title: Make sure you get a current version!
Review: Yes- there are defective Flex's that are prone to failure. However, if you get one that is current, they are a fantastic product! When purchasing, make sure you get a FRM36 version [or higher if it becomes available], and a serial # of over 6000. If you receive an older unit, with FRM34, do not install it- return it and contact the seller.Have the Flex installed on a 4+ton A/C unit, and it does exactly as advertised. Was able to run the entire house, including A/C, on a 10K/13K generator without even the slightest hiccup.

Title: Micro air, easy start flex
Review: After I installed the EasyStart flex, it ran for About 10 days and something burst/exploded on the inside of the device sent back on Amazon and still waiting for refund and it has been about a week since they have received the Defective product. I received the refund about a week and a half later.

Review: These things are a no brainer. I have owned numerous micro air soft starters and this one has all of the quality and results of their previous models but is 50% smaller and can fit any unit. Highly recommend.
