Title: Great Derby Gift
Review: I gave this along with four mule cups (I couldn't find the julep cups I wanted, but these were silver and close enough). We were going to the derby and staying with friends, so I gave a gift basket as a hostess gift. If you're being hosted for the derby weekend, it's a great item to include in your hostess gift. Even if you're just going to a derby-themed party that doesn't call for a full-on $$$ hostess gift, this book is a super cute hostess gift on its own!

Title: A Great Little Book for Your Reading Pleasure
Review: This book is an enjoyable read, written by an actual Kentucky Colonel! Students of southern culture and students of mixology will find this book a valuable reference for their library. Although small in size, this book is filled with facts and anecdotes about the Mint Julep Cocktail history, with numerous recipes for both classic and modern juleps. There is also a section where you can record your very own prized julep recipe, and a section on the distillers of genuine Kentucky Whiskey in Bourbon and surrounding counties.
