Title: It's clue as a social deduction game like werewolf or resistance Avalon
Review: This game is great, and I love the components choice of having the publicly known character be an envelope while the hidden role of whether they are good or evil or conspiracy leader as a card that goes in the envelope itself. Most games where you have a publicly known persona or identity but also a hidden alignment like good or evil will just have two separate cards so as an innovation in usage of components, this is really impressive and handy .The game is great and it takes most of the thematic workings of clue itself and spins it into kind of a sequel of that game thematically where this happens after that game takes place and this is about a conspiracy to enact or prevent a murder rather than merely a deduction of a murder that's already taken place which happened at body mansion. In terms of thematics, this feels a little bit like it borrows somewhat from glass onion as well.In terms of gameplay, it only has some similarity to original clue in as much as everyone is playing one of the basic characters and there is deduction elements and process of elimination elements with figuring out some things, but overall it is a new game that is in the resistance Avalon category of social deduction games that are slightly more complex than simply mafia or werewolf but still quite simple and fun and just a step above party games in terms of complexity but much lighter than many other more serious gamer focused games.I also want to address one of the one star comments I saw that didn't really offer much in the way of specific critique except how much they hated it but not really why with the exception of citing that it took 20 minutes for four players to get through the rules and set up the game for the first time. So I want to note that I'm not sure if that person has much experience with hobby games or tabletop games generally besides the very well-known and classic 20th century ones or party games, both of which I like, but I just would like to admonish that person and everyone else to have kind of an open mind that in the broader range of more complex hobby games and tabletop games, including party ones, this is not an overly complex game nor is it a difficult game to learn. It's certainly going to take more time to learn a game than to play a game that you already know all the rules to by heart because perhaps you started learning them around the same time you started learning to talk, like how many of us were with Clue or Monopoly etc. But the fact that this is a new game and for four adults it took 20 minutes to get the game set up and learn the rules from scratch the first time, this is a very modest and small and light footprint as far as set up time and rules complexity when we are talking about clearly four non-hobby gamers playing and learning a game for the very first time. For that purpose and for the amount of fun you get, 20 minutes as a one-time first game only rules learning and set up session is not a big ask and certainly not big enough to warrant calling the game trash that should be flushed down the toilet. I just want to note that because I'm concerned that that review was written in haste rather than with sober reflection and thoughtfulness.

Title: Fun family game
Review: This is such a fun, family game and we love to play it every week. I don't know why they call it Clue, because the only thing that is remotely related is the names of the characters. I love the fresh game play and difference between the way you play with more people.

Title: SAFE BUY FOR FAMILY FUN
Review: Our family of six, teens and adults, loved this game. We play games at least once a week and have bought too many games that collect dust after one try. Either there is no skill involved, the directions are confusing, or the games take too long. THIS GAME HIT THE SWEET SPOT. The directions were very well written and easy to follow. The first game was great, the second was a blast, and the only reason we didn’t play a third was because it was getting too late. This is a safe buy for someone looking to buy a new, interesting game for the family.

Title: Fun but you have to play 4-5 times before you begin to understand the rules
Review: This is a really fun twist on Clue, but there is a lot going on and the rules are hard to pick up at first. I played this with three adults, one 17 year old and two 12 year olds so it works with a variety of ages. It's helpful to have one person keep the instructions open and in front of them so you can check that you are doing everything you need to do. It's also helpful to read the whole instruction booklet before attempting your first round. And be prepared for the first few rounds to be ruined because you forgot something essential, but once you get the rules down pat it is really fun and pretty quick (20-30 minutes)

Title: Instructions are confusing
Review: The game will eventually be fun. There were 6 of us playing, and while yes most of us have ADHDn it still took 1.5 hours to figure out the rules.2 of us read the instructions out loud, watched Clue's instruction videos, and a game reviewers 'how to' on the game and we still basically stumbled through 1 round before everyone had to leave. The instructions need to be more clear, less complicated and just shorter all around.I do think after we play it several times we will get the hang of it and enjoy it more.Definitely not for younger kids, better for teens +Will take about 30-60 minutes to play, depending on players quickness and compression of the game.Price was fair for the contents and make of the game7/10 recommend

Title: Excellent and intriguing!
Review: Would really recommend this for a group of friends who enjoy board games. It's a good mix of the original Cluedo game, some bits that are like Secret Hitler, and some that are of its own. The combination makes this a lot of fun, and very replayable!

Title: Very hard to earn
Review: Ok clue is my very most favorite game ever! This will be fun, I think, once you learn how to play it, that’s the problem there is a 15 minute YouTube video to help learn. My family tried but just couldn’t get into it. With a dedicated group of players I think it would be great! But just for a new group of all new people not so much. So that’s what my review is based off of. I haven’t found that group of dedicated players to play it! Seems like a good game, board and set up seems very thoughtful. Be prepared to spend time learning.

Review: Amazon sellers don't seem to care at all about their product quality, the box I got was worse than a second hand purchase product. Game box itself doesn't feel good to hold, it's too small and I don't understand the design choice there. There are better games other there.

Review: This game is very fun to play especially in a group of about 4-5 but it takes a while to get the hang of. We had to watch a couple of videos online to understand the purpose of some of the pieces because the instruction manual said nothing about the little storm cloud pieces leaving us confused. Would still highly suggest for a small party game.
