Title: Very warm while working outside in extreme cold
Review: I have been using these since returning to work at the south pole and so far they have exceeded my expectations. The temperature has been around -45F with wind chills around -75F.I have been doing a lot of work outside handling cold objects while wearing these with a thin liners underneath and my hands have stayed very comfortable.Hopefully these will prove to be as durable as they are warm.

Title: Great gloves !!!
Review: Bought for a dog sled and snowmobile excursions in Wyoming. They kept my hands dry and warm. The weather was not extreme, luckily and I don't normally do these things so I did not want to buy specialized gloves. I do live in Boston so these will spend the rest of their lives shoveling and snowblowing. They run a tad but small but once broken in I bet they will be more accurate. Good buy.

Title: Finally a great pair of gloves that keep my hands nice and warm.
Review: Over the years I've purchased many different winter gloves and they all failed to keep my hands warm after a few minutes in the cold.I saw these advertised and decided to give them a try. We recently had snow so I had to spend about 40 minutes snow blowing the driveway. With my old gloves my hands would be freezing after about 15 minutes but these keep my hands warm and dry the entire time. Now I don't have to stop snow blowing half way and run in the house to warm up my hands anymore.Great gloves and worth the money. I'm considering buying a second pair so I have one pair at the house and one pair in the truck.

Title: A little hard to open but otherwise great pair of gloves
Review: The gloves align with the specifications provided in the product description: they are insulated, have a slight cushioning, and are accurately sized. Opting for a double X size due to my larger hands, I found the fit to be perfect. The only issue encountered was with the latch, which proved a bit challenging to open. It appears to be designed as a click-and-pull mechanism, but in reality, it requires more effort than anticipated.

Title: Fits great for a northern Colorado trucker
Review: I normally load and haul milk in the northern Colorado region but recently was switched to loading and hauling cement around the same general area and if you know how cold it gets in northern CO around this time of year you'll know that this is the time to get some insulated gloves. I chose these Carhartt ones (XL) because I've bought insulated jackets and sweaters from Carhartt recently and they've outperformed every other clothing I've owned so I thought why not. For reference I'm 6' 2" and 270 pounds (with a belly) and if you know about hauling cement in pneumatic trailers, you know you have to stay near the trailer at all times while constantly working with your hands and I'm glad I bought these gloves. They are so warm and water resistant, it's ridiculous (in a good way)! Whenever the temps get low, or when the sun is set, and I need to use gloves, I use these because while they don't keep my hands super hot, they leave them warm enough to where my hands aren't aching from the brutal cold! I have touched snow and ice with these gloves and have yet to wet my hands, even after a trip to Laramie, WY in a snowstorm!I honestly have yet to try these gloves while chaining up on I-70 but when the time comes, rest assured I'll be using these gloves every time. They are that good.

Title: Should Work
Review: I needed to replace my old play (riding ATVs) and work (snow removal mostly) gloves as the old ones were starting to show insulation through the leather palms/finger. I had a difficult time finding something that would be both warm (I'm up in N. Idaho and have to work at times in temps well below zero), still allow sufficient flexibility to allow my to grasp handle bars and shovel handles, plus tough enough to last for a couple of seasons.. These are close (I'd go with a 4.5 rating...but figured that going to a 4 wasn't right at this point) Point one, these are warm...very warm. Second, they are close to the flexibility of my old gloves; a bit more insulation means a small loss in flexibility, so we'll see, particularly after they get soaked and dried a couple of times. The last item, toughness will have to wait for at least a few more sessions of snow removal. They appear to have totally man made materials (even in the palms) and while they appear to be heavier duty than regular gloves, I've found after lots of experience that leather wears probably better than any other material; but I'm ready to be proved wrong. My one and only real advice would be to go a size larger than you might normally use. The measurement advice given on the Carhartt site was to buy large and while these fit, it's a tight fit and a bit of moisture will make them a challenge to get on. I'm at the stage in my life where our typical 6 inches of new snow requires at least a few starts and stops. You are not going to drink from a coffee mug with these on (warmth comes at a price) and getting them back on after that required cup of coffee will be a challenge. Oh, ya...the straps and draw strings on these are excellent. They will keep snow from getting in and will hold the gloves on even with significant effort. I'm currently to the point in our winter where snow removal requires throwing the snow up on to our now 5 ft piles. There is nothing quite as frustrating as throwing a full shovel of snow up on the pile and finding that your glove which froze on the shovel handle is now sitting on top of the pile after being pulled off your hand by the effort required.

Title: Best Winter Gloves I've Owned
Review: These are the best winter gloves I've ever had. They are definitely on the thicker side, but if you buy them with the expectation of having a thicker glove you will be happy. They keep your hands warm when the temperatures drop down really low. Anything below 32 and these are my go to. We've had several days below zero and wind chills minus 20 and these kept me warm for the 10 to 20 minute time spans I would be outside.

Review: I live in Canada and occasionally deal with deep low temps so after listening to reviews I tested these carhartt gloves several times at-25c with no cold fingers or any other issues. Excellent gloves with tons of insulation packed into every finger , tips , top of hand and extra padding in palms of gloves. Highly recommended for casual wear and driving gloves. Never put these gloves to work unknown if they'd survive. Look and feel great overall. Great Carhartt product.
