Title: Great value in an amazing little travel guide!
Review: I've been traveling to Greece since I was a child, mostly on summer vacations, and so far I've seen a lot of what this extraordinary country has to offer. But somehow, every time I returned home, I had the impression that I got to know only a fraction of what Greece hides under the cover of thousands of islands, a great expanse of its mainland, and thousands of years of history. Then I stumbled upon Stevan Clark's "Stevan Clark Greece Travel Guide: The Most Complete Full-Color Pocket Edition - Unearthing Greece's Hidden Treasures" which opened my horizons wide.This book summarizes everything you need to know in the framework of one pocket travel guide. Not only that each chapter is a great source of information that is just one click away from expanding your knowledge by Googling it further, but many of the recommendations and instructions are sufficient on their own, especially when it comes to tips on how to experience the local atmosphere or the basic understanding of needed Greek phrases and expressions.What I liked the most were the author's personal experiences, the anecdotes, and the overall feeling that he was writing the entire guide from his own experience. His love for ancient history, the art, and understanding the years of the past is evident, and this is exactly the book's main value.What is of great value for me personally is that he gave me more than several new destinations for my future travels. No doubt I will be taking this guide with me.

Title: A good starting point for your Greece Travel
Review: I was excited to read this book because im preparing for my trip to Greece. This book has a lot of general information about the different island and place to visit, however i was looking for specifics like name of restaurant, their best food on the menu and prices also a specific local recommendations, beyond the touristic experiences, still i have learned a lot from this book, i guess if you need something more detailed this is not it.

Title: Love It! Such an Interesting Read!
Review: I love this book! I've always wanted to visit Greece but not knowing where to start and this little travel guide provides everything needed to give you a glance of what to expect. It covers everything from Visa, what to pack, where to eat, to the beaten path where you can travel and eat like a local! I also like the chapter that talk about less well known island and how you can have an authentic experience when visiting. It's also very interesting that the author included a chapter about Greek Wine, I feel that it is less well known in the U.S. but I am definitely keen to try it out with the recommended food pairing. Overall, this is a great book and such a fun read! Highly recommended!

Review: “Greece Travel Guide” is a great comprehensive book for those looking to travel to Greece. All of the basics are covered including historical sites, emergency information, restaurant information, when went to visit, fun things to do like festivals, and much more. There are great travel and packing tips that are provided, which is helpful depending on the season you are visiting. There's also great information on some of the lesser known locations to visit, if that is something you're interested in. I really enjoyed the chapter on the vineyards and I think that would make for a very fun portion of the trip. Overall, this is a great book if you're planning a trip to Greece as it provides some quick information and some travel tips that can sometimes be overlooked.
