Title: Great resource & recipe book!!
Review: I ordered this book for my daughter and had a chance to glance through it before I gave it to her. Now I can hardly wait until she has had it for a while so I can borrow it!!The book was chock full of history, nutritional facts and delicious recipes - common recipes. Not those that take you to the store wondering where on earth to find the ingredients. It will be great to add to the recipes I already have in our quest to eat healthier using less meat in our diets!!

Title: Great cookbook, only....
Review: â¦.I need a microscope to read it! I wish I had known that before ordering, but now that it's here, I guess I'll just squint my way through it-I have to say that the recipes look delicious, and easy enough for those of us who don't fancy ourselves to be gourmet chefs! Plenty of pictures, a great variety of recipes using different beans, grains, and pulses, and they use ingredients that you won't need a passport to go find-I have already picked out a couple to try. Four stars, due to the tiny print.

Title: This book could do with a change of title.
Review: This book should be called âThe Big Beans AND GRAINS Cookbook.âI anticipated getting a book where every recipe would have beans/pulses in it. It does not. It includes a lot of recipes with wheat, rye, barley, polenta or rice as the primary ingredient and NO beans at all. (Since I have to eat gluten-free, many of these recipes are almost completely useless to me.)Other reviewers are correct about this book having very small print (though not as bad as I had feared⦠I would say itâs about a 9-pt font size), and itâs also true that many of these recipes would need to be modified by anyone looking for vegan recipes. All that being said, the book is quite nice. It contains a lot of content. The content is logically presented and well laid out, and thereâs a gorgeous color photo of every recipe.

Review: Quality book. Much more than beans only. I was looking for a beans only book but got lumbered with quite a comprehensive reference book. Really good value.

Review: This is a great book and worth buying - lots of really useful information, nice format and great recipes with pictures. However, beware this is the same book as a hardback version by the same author published in 2013 titled "Beans, Grains & Pulses". The contents of both books are identical. I was disappointed when this arrived as I already have the original book and was looking forward to receiving another great book of recipes from Nicola Graimes....
