Title: Makes short work of any task!!
Review: I recently purchased the DEWALT 20V Max XR Oscillating Multi-Tool, Variable Speed, Tool Only (DCS356B) and I have been blown away by its performance. This tool has exceeded all my expectations and has quickly become one of my go-to tools in my toolkit.The build quality of the DEWALT 20V Max XR Oscillating Multi-Tool is exceptional. It feels solid in my hand and the attention to detail in the design is evident. The variable speed control is smooth and precise, allowing me to adjust the speed to match the job at hand. Title: I like it!
Review: I used one of these Dewalt oscillating tools on an office remodel earlier this year for fitting new door hinges and handle hardware, as well as slotting some Phillips head screws that someone rounded out during the original installation so I could remove with the blade screwdriver. The tool belonged to the GC and I was so impressed with its multiple uses that I picked up one when they went on sale. So glad I did as I’ve already used it on a couple projects. Love the variable speeds, easy blade installation and adjustable angles of the blades, but there is a learning curve to doing delicate work like retrofitting new door hinges and striker plates, etc. Aside from the wide cutting blade, I picked up the sanding head and assortment of pads. Very impressed with the sanding option, which I had underestimated.In conclusion, I’m very happy with the build and performance of my new Dewalt oscillating unit, which is the true “multi-tool”!

Title: It's beautiful, powerful and not too loud.
Review: I had a corded Chicago Electric that sounded like a 2 Cycle boat. This is butter. So far only used it to cut some hard to reach bolts. Multi-tools are great for that. It felt strong but without the crazy vibration and noise. And it's way easier to change accessories as yoou don't need a separate tool and it holds the accessory very well with strong teeth. My first one was scary because the teeth wore down and I wasn't sure if the blade would hyper-escape on that job or not.

Review: I purchased the tool only option. Unit came with a single blade. Compatible with my other DeWalt 20V tools and rechargeable batteries. Purchased a bundled kit of blades with universal rapid exchange interface. Tool offers good balance and control over cutting in a variety of applications. Excellent tool for the DIY'er or professional. Would recommend.

Review: This is quickly becoming my new favorite tool. I own a bunch of Dewalt’s stuff and I have no complaints. You don’t too often need a multi tool but when you do, this things a beast! Works in a variety of places, great power, good weight, and a good price never hurts. Love it.

Title: Handy Tool
Review: Gets in places bigger saws cannot. It's quick, it's easy, changing blades takes seconds ... although force required to hold down the guard can be a bit much when hands are tired from work. Small and even takes a drop.Family member dropped this off a truss over 8' in the air onto concrete foundation floor with a Dewalt 6 Ah battery attached. Both still going like nothing happened.Vibration can be interesting to get used to on high speed. Whine of saw cutting through wood can be unpleasant. Wear hearing protection. Even if it's a quick cut on hi speed.Different blades cut different materials. Screw tips poking through too far? Cut them right off. Again, wear hearing protection. This thing whines loudly when cutting things.That's about the only complaint but what are you going to do when the blades vibrate that fast to cut through materials? It's going to be loud.Once my dad got used to it, he took mine. So I had to get a replacement for myself.Will it replace a circular saw for long cuts?Are you kidding? You want to free hand long cuts with this? Enjoy, I guess.Overall, this is extremely handy and quick for cutting tasks. If you don't know how to use it, look up videos online. You can make quick work of so many tasks.Just remember your hearing protection.

Title: Excellent Tool
Review: I have had 18v DeWalt tools for years and didn't like them due to batteries being crappy. Last year I had enough of the NiCad 18v batts and bought new 20v Li on batts with adapters. I've been very impressed with the 20v li on batts. They are powerful. So, when my trusty Dremel Multi Tool switch gave up the final ghost, I bought this DeWalt tool to replace it. I have been very impressed. I used it frequently for little sanding jobs around the house and still have a full battery. I will be buying more DeWalt tools as a result of my experience with this one. BTW, don't buy the cheaper model. If you read the reviews, you'll see it won't last as long as this model. Spend the extra few bucks. It is worth it. This tools drips quality.

Title: If it’s new for it to be sold on its original box with a new stamped date of 2024
Review: The seller from my order was HAPPY TOOLS and I received a new non used unit but it had a stamped date on it from 2022 so it wasn't manufactured this year it should’ve been sold at a discounted price due to the fact that it wasn’t manufactured on 2024. Plus it did not come in the original box it came in an unmarked box inside a plastic bag with a few accessories I’m not 100% sure it wasn’t remanufactured and sold as a new unit. It works great thos I tried cutting wood, and a hardened metal screw and it did not have a hick up of any kinds this design from dewalt works flawlessly and has plenty of power. I will be keeping this one even tho it was manufactured on 2022 doesn’t take anything from the fact it was new tho.
