Title: The Pie Guy
Review: I've been trying to learn how to make pastry pie crust. I've used several different recipes and watched multiple YouTube videos. Then I found The Pie Academy at my local library. The instructions are clear and easy to follow with lots of photos. I liked the book so much I ordered my own copy from Amazon. The Key Lime Pie recipe is to die for. Be sure to subscribe to Ken Haedrich's YouTube channel.

Title: Easy to follow, delicious recipes.
Review: I made the apple pie with streusel topping and salted caramel sauce for my husband for his birthday. It was a labor intensive recipe, but it was delicious. I had to make 4 different recipes (crust, filling, streusel, and caramel sauce) but they were all easy to follow and came out wonderful. The book is divided into helpful chapters; all the crusts are in one section, and then the types of pies are divided by chapters (there is a whole chapter on apple pies), and then all the sauces and toppings are in the back. It's a great reference book and I cannot wait to make more recipes! I think I'm going to try a pecan pie next. I highly, highly recommend this book. I consider myself a beginner baker and even I was sort of able to flute my edges!

Review: I'm a home baker and found this book walks new or experienced bakers through every step of pie making. It's a great book to give for a gift! And it is frequently used in my kitchen. I highly recommend it for someone looking to expand knowledge and how-to techniques. I love the crusts variations, types and suggestions which filling would go well. Tips about making crusts, and ensuring your bakes come out. The problem for me is...which pie to bake next!

Title: Good Reading
Review: To be honest, made the dough wasn't very happy, did try the blueberry pie recipe it was great. I decided not to buy anymore cookbooks. As I get recipes online, as making the dough which I use all the time, and an apple recipe. I did learn a few techniques and explanations about pies. I have to say wrote to the author, he did respond.

Title: BEST Pie tutorials EVER! Comprehensive, easy to follow, great pics to refer to
Review: I"m a pretty decent baker; pies not included. UNTIL NOW! This book is really taking my pie game up a few notches! So chock full of wisdom and an easy to follow, fun to read book. The crust step-by-step I have used about 15 times now, and I can't believe how much I've improved on them. I've also made 7-8 of the pie recipes and they have all been delectable. I used his pie packing and shipping techniques and sent family pies for Christmas, from CA to WA. They arrived perfectly and the recipients were thrilled. If you want to actually learn to make truly killer pies consistently and WOW your friends, this is the book for you.
