Title: I should have gotten one years ago
Review: I can’t believe how much this has improved my salad game. I actually hate washing salad greens and I absolutely refuse to buy collard greens anymore because they’re so dirty and hard to get clean, this may make me change my mind. I each a lot of kale and I usually but the bag of pre-washed kale. Lately, however, this brand of kale has started to appear dirty and is not exactly looking pre-washed so I found myself in the position of needing to wash my supposedly already washed kale. Since I’m doing that I figured that I may as well save myself a few pennies and buy the bunch of kale instead and just clean it myself. I then have the dilemma of wet greens that wilt and go mushy much faster. I remembered a commercial from years ago for salad spinner and decided to look for one and lo and behold this is the best priced one so I decided to get it. I am kicking myself for waiting so long to get one. It does exactly what it says. You wash your greens (or whatever) thoroughly and then place them in the basket and spin it around. This little basket gets some crazy velocity when it gets going you have to hold the hold thing down and so much water spins out of the basket. I spin it twice and drain it twice, there’s a little slot on the lid to drain the water from. The kale is super clean and super dry and this will pay for itself in a matter of weeks because I don’t need to buy the pre-washed kale anymore. I’m still not sure about the collard greens.

Title: a bit of a challenge to grip
Review: I am a salad-spinner believer, that's for sure. But the spinner I've been using is made of a brittle, sharp plastic and I don't like the feel of it at all. I have to be careful with the edges not to cut myself.I ordered this spinner because it was a different style and looked to hold a larger volume. It looked "comfortable."What I like is that the spinner is made of a more pliable plastic that is softer to the touch and doesn't have so many sharp edges. The plastic is fairly thick, the bowl and basket are well made, with attention to detail and the spin mechanism works smoothly and evenly and doesn't make gitchy clicky sounds. What has been a challenge is holding on to the spinner when I'm doing the spinning. I'm used to having a handle and this spinner doesn't have a handle; it has a lock instead. I don't really understand how the lock works (the instructions are not clear at all), so the way I use the spinner is to press down with the flat of my hand on the open space of the lid while I turn the knob. I have to push pretty hard against the countertop to keep the spinner from moving around and it vibrates quite a lot.I discovered one problem that I think is due to the larger volume of this spinner and that is that the bowl is wider than my old spinner. My old spinner is narrow, so when I spin (usually blueberries and strawberries), the berries have a lot of surface area to spin against as they end up along the sides of the basket. This bowl is shorter and more squat, and the berries stay stuck in the bottom of the mostly empty basket so they don't seem to spin off as much water as they do in my narrower spinner. If you are spinning large lettuce leaves or vegetables, that might not be an issue for you.

Title: DON'T HESITATE.. JUST GET. All inclusive.. Perfect for single/couples- AWESOME DESIGN!!
Review: Perfectly sized for a single user or couple. Smaller footprint easily stores what used to be such a cumbersome appliance in the past. Beyond ideal with all-inclusive capability! Interior "basket" lets you prep lettuce and load directly into multi purpose colander "aka-green bowl." When ready, wash lettuce under running water in green bowl (excess water expels freely-) then pop green bowl into larger clear exterior "nesting style!" Cover with lid, lock clamps and spin freely.. then, spin once more. Any excess water gathering in exterior bowl can be drained if seen.. clear material provides perf. visual to guide user along, no prob!Once lettuce is clean and dry, empty it from "A to B/out of green and into clear" the perfect bowl to build a salad- BooM!! See, it's 100% all-inclusive!!! *If not ready to eat, cover with lid and keep chilled until meal. So much ease and convenience under $15.. WoW!Spinner moves freely, smaller size gives user physical control. Lock tight lid is easy to clamp and open in the same way. Simple to clean with soapy water. Spinner makes a perfect shower, housewarming, hostess gift, or spoiler for self. Has respectable integrity to do its job when needed. Hoping info. may help others- stay safe everyone.

Title: Smaller size
Review: I had the big one that was on YouTube TikTok for the longest time and it worked great. However, it did end up warping in my dishwasher so I had to replace it. I wanted to find a smaller version so that it doesn’t take up so much room in my pantry. Luckily, I found this item and it works just the same as the other brand and it is smaller fits better in my cabinet. It’s still big enough to put my strawberries and blueberries in there without issue. I do have to do it in a couple of batches, but since I prep all of these as soon as I shop for them, it’s not that big a deal. I still would prefer the smaller salad spinners as opposed to the larger one.

Title: Great Addition to My Kitchen!
Review: I've been using the Salad Spinner for a few days now, and I'm quite pleased with its performance. The capacity is perfect for my needs, allowing me to wash and dry a good amount of greens at once. The mesh basket does an excellent job of draining water, and the spinning mechanism is straightforward and effective.

Title: Light and spins well
Review: This salad spinner is light yet is made of fairly sturdy plastic. The basket inside is a perfect size for single or two-persons salad servings. The spinning handle on top works great but to remain stable on the counter while spinning rapidly, the bowl needs to be firmly held in place by placing your other hand on the lid. Good quality product overall for the price.

Review: We owned a large salad spinner before. We barely used it! The use to space ratio was very low so we ended up donating it. If we needed our vegetables or fruits dried right away we had to pat it dry with a towel. Can you imagine drying each stalk of lettuce with a towel?! Yup that was us. That's why when I saw this spinner I thought I had to give it another try. It's small enough that it doesn't take up a ton of cabinet space. It's also a great size for the amount of lettuce, and other veg/fruit, that we typically need drying! The spinner came in a brown box, which was a little plain I thought, especially for the cost of the item. Thankfully when I opened it the spinner looked great. I like the green, for the vegetable theme I guess. The bowl was also crystal clear! Not sure how long that will last since it is just plastic. I figure it must get scuffed over time with washing. The inner collander can also be used separately if you just needed to sink dry something. It is plastic as well so I don't think I would use it for anything too hot. You should use a metal collander for that! The collander part sits on a pointy part in the bowl, which is what allows it to spin freely. The lid is a two-part lid. It's got an inner plate that spins the collander part. Then there is the outer lid, which can be locked to the clear bowl using a single locking clamp. There is also a drain hole at the top for when you need to pour out the water, I suppose. Lastly you have a squat little handle that you use to spin. The bottom of the bowl has 3 little rubber feet. The spinner I got wasn't level actually so it would rock on the flat surface. I ended up having to push down on the rubber feet some more and that got it aligned up. The feel do secure the spinner from moving, even though they are so small When you start spinning though, you will have to use both hands! One hand to hold the spinner and the other to spin the handle. You can't start it with just one hand on the one I got. There is some force needed to start the spinning, and if you don't hold it, the entire spinner will rock/move on you. Now once you get it started you can just spin it with one hand easily. The spinning mechanism is reasonably smooth, though there is a bit of friction. However, once you get it started the spinner can actually spin on its own for awhile. So there is friction, but not enough to stop it from spinning on its own for awhile. That's great because that saves you some work lol! Once spinning all the water from the lettuce should go to the side of the clear bowl because of centrifugal force. You can then take out the lettuce to use, and pour out the excess water from the clear bowl. It worked great! If you need a smaller salad spinner this one works great. The size makes it perfrect for a couple people, or if you have space challenges. I think this size is perfect for a condo or small apartment where space is a premium. You can see in my photos it is no bigger than a 1.36Kg of coffee. You can also double up the uses of the clear bowl and the collander part. They don't have to always be used with the spinner. This makes the item more versatile than just a spinner!

Review: The salad spinner works well. The inner drain basket holds tightly and spins smoothly using the top handle. The basket spins on an inner molded pivot in the center of the outer inside bottom of the bowl. It spins freely just like it had a bearing. When you let go of the handle, the inner drain basket keeps turning for a while. The bottom of the outer bowl has a nonslip base that keeps it secure on the counter. It’s a great design. On the top lid where the turning handle is there is also a lock that keep the lid tight on the outer bowl. The bowl holds about 3 litres of lettuce so its great for 2-3 people. The spinner does indeed help to remove access moisture and water from the lettuce. The outer bowl doubles too as a salad bowl. Overall, this is a great product and works exactly as designed. You can use it to wash fruits and vegetables, drain water from pasta and lettuce in preparing salads, and use it as a salad bowl. It is well made and versatile. I don’t have any negative comments to make about this product.

Review: This product arrived the next day via Amazon Prime and was packaged in a cardboard retail box.PROS-This salad spinner works well; it is easy to crank and builds up speed well to effective dry leafy greens.-Like other similar products, this item can strain, serve and store foods quite well and is a decently versatile tool (I recommend lining this with paper towel when storing produce).-The features advertised are quite handy including a non-slip base, pouring spout and locking mechanism in case your veggies are in the habit of trying to escape.-The best aspect of the smaller size is that it takes up less kitchen real estate when storing it between uses.CONS-This thing is pretty small meaning you have to cut everything up before washing things. This is annoying as it does not quite fit an entire romaine lettuce, and I tend to prefer washing broccoli and cauliflower before chopping them so they maintain better firmness and don't become water-logged as easily.-While the asking price of $27 CAD is not unreasonable, I could not help notice while at Canadian Tire recently that a full sized version was selling for 20 bucks. While this may be better suited to individuals who live alone, I recommend opting for the larger size, especially for families as this product may not represent excellent value/utility for everyone.
