Title: I love it!
Review: Originally, I wanted the Oasis, but since it's discontinued, I got this, and I'm very happy I did! I was expecting it to look cheap because it’s plastic, but I think it’s actually super cute and more pleasant to the touch than metal. The screen quality is great and the 7" size is exactly what I wanted. It’s very lightweight and comfortable to hold. The buttons have a nice feel to them. I love that it’s white, unlike other e-readers, and that it has color! It’s super easy to send over books with a code, and the interface overall is really convenient and has nice features. Very, very happy with my purchase!!

Title: My absolute dream E-reader
Review: I absolutely flipping love this! I’ve been mainly a physical reader for my entire life and until a couple years ago when I tried my first e reader (kin*le). I still mainly read physical books but did enjoy having a reader. The main thing holding me back from enjoying e reading more was the fact that I love to annotate my books and although I could technically do it on my kin*file it was a pain and a half. This kobo with the stylus is everything! Perfection! The color is also a total bonus and I love having the page turning buttons! It’s light weight, easy to set up and use & worth every penny! The screen size is also perfect! Big enough while still being super easy to take on the go. I also notice less of the normal e reader “lag” with this. I’m rambling but to sum it up this is the absolute best e reader ever, no questions, hands down.

Title: Everything you've heard about it being better than the Paperwhite? It is!
Review: I have been a Paperwhite lover literally since they came out, so I don't say this lightly. The Libra Color is a glorious ereader.- It's responsive (for e-ink, of course—make sure you're not expecting OLED).- It's incredibly customizable (font, font size, line spacing, margin spacing, and more). Dark mode; light mode.- A big thing: it does NOT push the store on you. The focus is books, reading; when you turn it on, you're confronted with YOUR LIBRARY, not things an algorithm wants you to buy.- It connects with Overdrive! You can borrow DIRECTLY FROM YOUR LIBRARY!- THE KOBO IS REPAIRABLE.- It connects with Google Drive and Dropbox, making epub transfer simple.- It's VERY light and easy to hold, which, thanks to arthritis, is something I need.I was initially worried the shape might be strange to adapt to, but guess what? It's actually easier to hold! Adapting to this shape was as seamless as moving to a place without Daylight Savings Time: believe me, you don't miss it even a little.Yes, of course it's not AS bright as an OLED screen, but neither was the Paperwhite. I find it very readable, very clear, and oh, oh, oh, those buttons? I didn't know how much I would love having physical buttons until I did.Transferring books from my Kindle library onto it turns out to be simple, too (YouTube has tons of tutorials). This is the one, fellow readers. I can't recommend it enough.

Title: Great Ereader!
Review: The ereader I was using before this was an old hand-me down kindle.. It finally died so I decided to get this to treat myself :)This device is leagues a head of my previous one! I mainly read mangas and romance novels and I was honestly looking into getting a kindle oasis, but I decided I liked the customizability of the os much more on this device. The screen is super crisp and I really like the fact it has a screen warmth setting that changes throughout the day. The buttons are very responsive and work great as well. The backlight works great when I want to read at night, even at the 3% brightness it is still plenty bright and readable. The biggest selling point of this ereader was the colored screen and the annotation capabilities. While I think both work fine I was a little disappointed in the colored screen. I've seen some picture online of the screen showing book covers and they all make the screen look very vibrant and nice.. I'm sure it's the same for everyone but looking at the colors in person they do appear a little washed out. Luckily for me that wasn't to big of a let down since at the end of the day this is still an e-ink display.I purchased a 3rd party stylus for this since the kobo one was a little expensive. It worked fine and did what its supposed to. I realized after having it for a few days that it was unnecessary for me because I don't find myself reaching to write something while I'm reading. If anything I would just highlight quotes from the books, but you don't need the stylus to use the highlighting feature. There is also a notebook section that allows you to just take notes or do journalling. This wasn't something I tried extensively, but it functioned fine. The device has a bunch of built in. templates and presets you could use straight out the box.Importing books to this is also super super easy and honestly doesn't take that long. You can upload epubs or pdfs directly to your kobo wirelessly through dropbox, google drive, or an online website (all this can be done with just your phone). It also has a overdrive section built into the UI if you borrow ebooks from the library (I used to on my kindle, but you would have to take extra steps and it wasn't as streamlined). Also importing books from a laptop as simple as just drag and drop! Unfortunately the storage isn't expandable like previous models that used a micro sd card, so if you mainly read manga or comics on this you'll fun out of storage kinda quickly.Only giving this 4 stars because of the storage limitations, but other than that I have no complaints and so far everything works great!

Title: Rating is for Seller & NOT for Product
Review: The product itself (Libra Colour ereader) is fabulous. Great design, cleanest ereader interface on market and has fantastic options to get books from many places.Instead the one star rating is for Seller's return/refund policies if you have to use them. Purchaser has to return insured on their own nickel and then you get hit with a 20% restocking fee.So order from BlueProton at your own risk and EXPENSE!

Review: Been playing with new Kobo for a few days now...my old one just got so laggy and slow it was unbearable.+ Using another Kobo is super intuitive. No changes in how I used to navigate the menu/read books, excellent in that regard.+ Everything loads up and syncs so fast!+ Battery has not moved since I charged it, I expect a good few weeks on 1 charge.+ Colour is OKay. Regular books only display the covers and handwritten notes in colour. It is a bit muted and does look like a newspaper print rather than like a mobile phone/tablet screen. It was not the decisive factor for the purchase and I am happy with the way menu and covers look.++ The best feature so far is google drive - managed to sync the books from my phone.o The buttons are indeed a little meh, it is nice to scroll with them, but some parts of the button are just a dead zone that does nothing.- The only thing I do not love about it is the plasticky feel, my old H2O used to have a nice grippy finish, this one does indeed slip out of my hand sometimes, but I can adjust the hold and just get used to the curved side...Screen size is just right and being able to take notes/journal is a feature I may or may not use :DThe one thing this Kobo is supposed to do works and it works flawlessly.Easy 5 stars review, so excited to read more again!

Review: I am very pleased with this, and I'm pleased that I chose it as my first colour, e-ink reader - something I have been looking at for some time, It’s much better than any of the Kindle readers I have owned. One standout feature is the **Google Drive integration**, which makes adding your ownbooks incredibly easy and convenient. The eReader is lightweight, making it perfect for on-the-go reading. Another fantastic aspect is that it is fully repairable by the user – you can even replace the battery yourself! This is a huge plus for those who value sustainability and longevity in their devices. The display offers vibrant color saturation, which can be further enhanced by switching to "developer mode." This is a simple process, and there are plenty of YouTube videos available to guide you through it. The display is also glare-free, making reading comfortable even in bright sunlight¹.Additionally, the Kobo Libra Colour supports a wide range of file formats, including EPUB, PDF, and MOBI, giving you the flexibility to read almost any book you want. The device also features something kobo calls **ComfortLight PRO**, which reduces blue light exposure, making it easier on the eyes during nighttime reading.Overall, I highly recommend the Kobo Libra Colour for anyone looking to enhance their reading experience with a versatile, user-friendly, and sustainable Reader! It's also, for a colour reader especially, very cheap. Now, if only they would bring down the price of the stylus that goes with it.

Customers say

Customers like the readability, size, and button feel of the electronic book reader. They mention it's a wonderful reader, very portable, and the page turn buttons are satisfyingly clicky. Some also like the build quality and note-taking capability. However, some customers have different opinions on the color quality and speed.
