Title: comfy - warm slippers
Review: Well, the first thing to mention is that I ordered these slippers yesterday and today I am sitting here with them on! Truly amazing service from Amazon. Don't know how they do it - AMAZING ! !. With free shipping, quick delivery and very reasonable pricing --> why go to the store?These Dearfoams Alpine Brixen Slipper Boots are very comfortable. I have perpetual cold feet and these slippers keep my feet toasty warm but not overly hot. I wear a size 9 1/2 shoe. After reading the reviews for these slippers, I ordered the 10-11 size and they fit perfectly. I do wear medium weight socks with them. As mentioned by other reviewers, 1.) they are a little tight in the toe area so I hope that they stretch out a little, but they're not uncomfortable now, and 2.) they do slip slightly at the heel when walking but not enough to cause concern that they will come off. I am writing this review after only wearing the slippers for a few hours so I can't report on durability, but close inspection makes me think that they are well made and should last a while. The outside bottom sole is hard material and seems designed for outdoor activity. The inside footbed is quite comfortable but does not offer pronounced arch support. The fleece lining provides comfort and warmth. Overall, and so far, I am very pleased with my purchase.

Title: Comfy and warm- great slippers/ Large size fits for size 11 shoe
Review: I bought these to replace my older slippers which were worn out. Those were regular 'shoe' like slippers- being in Vermont, I wanted to try these higher, boot style ones. I liked the fact that they have more supportive removal insoles in them also.So far I am very pleased. They look nice, they are warm, and they are more supportive for my feet then other slippers, and they are holding up fine. I have them mainly for indoor use, but I have worn them out on my deck or for brief walking out in my yard.I wear a size 10.5 - 11 shoe, and I ordered the large size. When I first got them, they seemed a little tight on my toes, especially with socks on, which I how I usually use them. I was concerned that maybe I needed the X-Large size, and ordered a pair of those also. By the time those came, these were feeling better- I tried the X-large on briefly, as it was immediately obvious they were way too loose, and returned them right away. After having the Large size 2 -3 months, they have stretched just a little it seems, and now fit just right.After considering many other slippers, from Dearfoam and other companies, I am happy with this purchase, and would definitely recommend them if you like this style. At least for having them during the winter so far, I wear these most of the time around the house when I am home, and put my shoes on only if going out! If these eventually wear out, I'd buy them again.

Title: Runs small!
Review: Slipper is great looking but runs super small in the toe. Bought a size 8 to fit a foot that usually wears around that size in men’s. Way too tight in toe to be comfortable (though strangely loose in the heel), so we ordered a 9 and it’s a lot better. Would never take a 9 in men’s size shoe, though! Usually even 8.5 in men’s shoes are a bit loose. So these slippers are unusually small, possibly due to the thick lining. Be aware that the toe area may feel tighter than the heel area, which can make it hard to get a perfect fit if you’re picky. That said, the size 9 is pretty comfy for lounging around and they look pretty cool. They’re definitely warm! I think they’re definitely worth the sale price.

Review: I've tried all kinds of slippers but these are perfect for me. They keep my feet warm and since they are sort of a high-top, they never slip off unless I pull them off. Also... very affordable.

Review: THE LINERS, for me, are like aluminum heat sinks. Barefoot in them is like standing on an IceCube.I assumed the price reflected the Quaility, but it was wrong.AND After Having spent over $157. to have a lift insert installed I cant return them.Not warm.

Review: I usually wear a size 9 or 9.5. I bought these in a size 10 and could not get my foot into them. Not even close!. My wife, who wears a size 7 W, tried them on and said they were about 1/2 a size to big for her, so that puts them at a 7.5 W.
