Title: "Sharp" Look
Review: This product is very nice. It looks nice, has a very strong grip, and ven has a built in sharpener. If I had to say anything negative it would be that the bottom 1/3 of the block doesn't have any magnetism. Depending on how you place your knives, it may not matter.

Title: Holds knives securely and safely
Review: Beautiful looks. With arthritic hands, hard to install the base. 3 long wood screws, short handled Phillips screw driver provided. Would suggest assembling product at factory and shipping assembled. Classic knifes, well displayed rather than hidden in a drawer. Small footprint on our counter.

Title: Beautiful but easily screatched
Review: Such an improvement over the original knife block which in my mind could grow mold in the slots. We're able to fit all our knives, even our long bread knife. The only down side is that along the top where the haft of the knife rests is easily scratched. Otherwise a stylish and space saving improvement.

Review: I love this knife block!!! I have all my knives on it and it takes up no counter space. So easy to use and looks great on the counter. If you are into cooking you should get one of these and ditch your old knife block - this is the way to go!
