Title: Great Donation Box!
Review: This is exactly what I was looking for to use for our charitable organization to put candy in. It seems sturdy enough for our purposes and I like that I can customize the top portion with whatever I want to slide into the holder for advertising purposes.

Title: Not a happy customer!
Review: I ordered a two compartment donation box with lock and key and only received one compartment. I called MCB for a refund and directions with what to do with the one box I did receive and they were unable to help me. The gentleman said he'd call me back, I'm still waiting! Not a happy customer!

Title: Beautiful Donation Box that needs modifications
Review: This box is really pretty and seems like a great idea. I used the open side to display small items for sale. The slot opening is for the money is REALLY small and only wide enough to allow for coins. I used a "Dremel" tool to widen and elongate the slot so it could allow for dollars. The back of the display doesn't have a space to insertor hold a card or poster. I printed my advertisement, laminated and used glue dots to adhere it to the back.

Title: A perfect size for a countertop donation collection box
Review: A perfect size for a countertop donation collection box. The open portion on the right side fits brochures very well. The back portion doesn't allow insertion of an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. The paper needs to be taped to the back.

Title: Received wrong box, returned for refund and ordered from different seller
Review: I ordered this item from this product page from "My Charity Boxes" and I received the wrong item, which is why I deducted a star from this product listing. After returning it for a refund, I instead ordered this same box from Source One Deluxe Donation Box With Two Compartments for Give & Take and I received the correct item. The box itself is perfect! We put all kinds of goodies in the freebies side for people to look through—wristbands, buttons, stickers, magnets, pens/pencils, etc—and it really helps encourage donations using the principle of reciprocity. It's good the box is clear, so you can "salt" the donation side with a few dollars so people see that they should do the same (using the principle of social proof, ala Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion). It's easy to print a sign on regular paper for the display.

Review: Cheap boxes... for $20 you would expect these not to chip and break after a small fall from the table.

Review: This charity/donation box was ordered for people to drop notes with their ideas, however the box does not include a hole in the locked compartment, hence defeating the whole purpose of the box.The pictures on Amazon clearly indicate a hole, making it clearly false advertisement and a useless product! We are terribly dissapointed!

Customers say

Customers like the value for money and fundraising value of the storage box. They mention it serves its purpose well and helps encourage donations. However, some customers have reported that the opening is really small and only wide enough to allow for coins.
