Title: Keeps butter spreadable
Review: This was a gift. She was so excited to receive. Although the bowl held one full stick of butter, it left precious little room for the prescribed amount of water the line indicated. This Is why I only gave four stars. We only used enough water to ensure air was not allowed in. However, the receptacle looks good to display on table or counter, and will be used daily!

Review: Ahh, the butter bell - a butter lover's dream. Not only is this so cute, but it's SO convenient. Putting the butter into it is probably the "worst" part, but I use that word loosely. I, personally, prefer to smush the butter in with my fingers + gloves to ensure there aren't any air bubbles and keep the butter smooth. I've been a "butter on the counter in a holder" person all my life, but there's something about a butter bell that just makes it better. Don't bother spending the $40+ on name brand when this is the exact same thing for a 1/3 the price. Trust me: you *need* a butter bell.
