Buttermilk Biscuits with Strawberry-Lemon Jam

The whole family loves these big, fluffy biscuits with plenty of butter and drizzles of our sticky-sweet Five Marys golden honey. When I have fresh strawberries in the fridge—especially if they are past their best days—I’ll whip up some jam to smear on the biscuits right when they come out of the oven.

Five Marys Cheeseburger with Bacon Marmalade

There’s something about the sweet bacon marmalade partnered with a cheeseburger. It was actually Brian’s invention—the saltiness of the bacon and sweetness of the marmalade bring out the beefy flavor of the meat. We like to make a big batch and always have it on hand at home.

Title: So many delicious choices!
Review: Chalk full of the tastiest breakfast ideas, delicious adult beverages & meals with your most favorite meat choices! Her spice rub recipe is inside & I legit make it once every month or two; we use it so often! This cookbook makes for a great gift or even just a treat for yourself if you’re in the market! If anything, buy it just for the spice rub.. lol.

Review: Followng 5Mary farms on instsgram for a few months now, I had to order this cookbook. This family is phenomenal! They have so much passion and put all their can do attitude into everything they do and they do it Together as a family! I highly recommend this cookbook, it wont dissappoint! Im a from scratch cook, and I live the fact that all of Marys recipes are from scratch. Very impressive and just ehat I was looking for. I dont know how she does it all, and she does it so well!!!

Title: Gorgeous photographs only surpassed only by Scrumptious Recipes
Review: This gorgeous book has immediately become a staple of our kitchen. I would have loved it just for the photographs - sumptuous full page images of the Heffernan's "dirt and sunshine" approach to life on Five Marys Farm. Mary's charming asides about ranch life make this a book that I want to curl up with, not just splatter with sauce in the kitchen. But the recipes, oh the recipes! I gave up marking ones to try after I earmarked all of the first 20 pages. Those I have sampled so far are delicious, sophisticated yet undaunting for the average weekday night chef. Though the book makes me want to run off to the ranch, at least this way I can eat like I live on one.

Title: Truly a farm to table cookbook
Review: I’ve been following Mary and her family on Instagram for almost 3 years now. I’ve never met any of them personally but I feel as if they are family. Mary and her husband Brian along with their 4 girls raise beef, pork, and lamb in Northern California. I’ve ordered their meats from their online store and did a little happy dance when it arrived on my doorstep next day. When Mary announced she was creating a cookbook a did the same little happy dance. Well today my Five Marys cookbook arrived on my doorstep and I did a BIG little happy dance. I cannot wait to try so many of the recipes I have watched her cook over the years. Even if you don’t like to cook I highly recommend this cookbook just for the pictures. Mary’s family and their ranch is breathtakingly gorgeous. I currently have this book open laying on my coffee table as decor. Not buying this cookbook would be a regret. I promise you’ll love it.

Review: I’ve been following 5 Marys Farm for a couple of years, and tried their ground beef this year. It is the best tasting, most flavorful beef I’ve ever had. I am so excited to read more of their story in this cookbook, make a famous Five Marys Sidecar, and learn how to cook things like “Flank Steak Tacos with Roasted Tomatillo Salsa,” “Brian’s Chicken Fried Steak with Country Gravy,” “Sweet-and-Spicy Baby Back Ribs,” and “Creamy Parmesan Polenta.” Everything the Heffernans create is high-quality, and I’m so grateful to have this cookbook in my kitchen!

Title: Great book!!
Review: Ok, you’ll want to clear an hour or so and just sit down and read this cookbook and enjoy the stories and pictures. I’ve got several recipes to try and I just love everything about this book. The pages feel good on the fingertips when you flip back and forth - they aren’t glossy and sharp. Buy an extra copy for a great gift too!

Review: Two years ago I was on a road trip through California. When I visited Yreka I was looking for an place to eat. I found out that the restaurant of Five Mary's was 20 minutes away. I followed the family already on Instagram. I ordered the steak with potatoes. It was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. When I heard about there cookbook, I ordered it with Amazon. The recipes are easy to understand and the pictures in the book are well chosen. It looks just like there Instagram acount, amazing.
