Title: Great book
Review: Purchased this book, used on the recommendation of our counselor at my church. This book can help with any type of loss or grief. Very general but still to the point. Illistrations are super also. Easy read a book you may want to save and reread again and again. Appropriate for any age group also. Or if you wish pass it on to someone who has suffered a loss. Losses and grief come in many forms, family members, pets, our homes, our jobs, our marriages, you get the picture.Highly recommend!

Title: A Powerful, Meaningful, Helpful, and Relevant Book
Review: Several years ago, I met the authors when they visited the hospice unit to visit a friend where I worked as a Chaplain and Bereavement coordinator. I was a certified "Grief Recovery Method" instructor for several years and we used this book in our classes from the time we discovered it. It's excellent for the griever and those who support them. Easy to read, excellently illustrated, and it makes a great coffee table display. The authors have a lot of hospice experience so this book was born out of that environment making it very relevant. I've bought several as gifts over the years and as recently as May this year.

Title: For adults & kids. Best story ever to help deal with grief.
Review: This book isn't just for kids, not by a long shot. It's a beautifully written, gentle story with incredible illustrations thruout. No "stages of grief", no clinical "how to grieve" instructions. Just a story that helps one to know that it's ok to grieve in your own way, with all the mixed emotions that may arise along the way.My grown siblings and I first received this book over 10 years ago when our mother passed, and we still refer to it to this day. I've also given a copy to over a dozen friends in their times of need, and each one has praised it as well. You won't regret getting a copy anytime you're dealing with grief of any type.

Review: The artwork in the book is wonderful and was the first thing I noticed. A dog's countenance creatively and expressively reflects the feelings that are expressed in the text. That does not diminish the book in way way. It isbe helpful in meeting the needs of all ages of adults as they come to grips with losses of every kind, including death. Well researched resources are included at the end, as well. An amazing find.

Review: I lost my companion in April of 2012 and had never thought grieving would be so long and so hard. This book put words on my feelings and the authors really seem to understand what grieving people go through. I had read many books on the subject before encountering this one (thanks to my sister who is a nurse) but this one seemed to sum it up the best.I would recommend it to anyone going through a grieving experience - not only physical death, but any serious loss.

Review: I was recommended this book by a friend who had listened to a counsellor talking about it. My soulmate had died recently and I read it about 6 weeks into the grieving process. The death was unexpected but had it not been I would have liked to have read Tear Soup beforehand. It prepares you so well for so much if not all of what you will feel and that helps. It allows you to grieve in your own way and in your own time. The tips at the back are very helpful and the way the book is presented even raises a smile. I have already shown it to others.
