Title: The first greatest hits set by Chicago ... the big ones from their best years!
Review: Chicago's first and best Greatest Hits set. It was initially released just before Christmas back in 1975 and found its way under of millions of Christmas trees that year. The following Christmas as well, as this Number One LP spent a very healthy year-and-a-half in the Billboard album charts. Formally titled Chicago IX - Chicago's Greatest Hits, the album was compiled at just the right time and collects all the best hit singles the band generated from 1969 through 1975 (although a few were saved for 1981's Chicago's Greatest Hits, Volume II), the band's most fertile artistic and commercial era. This is the band many of us knew and loved from day one with 1969's Chicago Transit Authority debut. Everything changed with Terry Kath's untimely passing a couple of years later, sadly. As for Chicago IX, the full five still rising stars and very highly recommended.

Review: I heard part of a Chicago song on the radio & when I got home I was gonna listen to an album I had, it was gone! I must've lost it somewhere, with all the times I've moved or someone decided, it was theirs! So, I went online to find a cd or an album. Amazon, gave me a lot of choices, but I picked this one! I am so glad I did!! I love all the songs on the CD & I know all the words! Plays great, sounds great, just like it did in the old days & brings back a lot of memories!!! Now I can listen to it whenever I want, be on my iPhone, my iPad, my PC & of course on my stereo!! Thank you so much!!! ðð I LOVE ðIT!!!

Title: Great 70s compilation
Review: Chicago was the soundtrack of the 70s. Their hits were monster hits. I don't know why these songs are not played on the radio anymore.The only reason I did not give it 5 starts is the CD sound is flat and feels dated. You have to turn it up to hear all those great horns and the big band sound.

Review: If you're a Chicago fan, as I am, this CD has most of their major hits on it. What I like about this CD is that the original tracks of songs like "Make Me Smile" feature Terry Kath on primary vocals, and in my opinion, he was never really replaced with anyone else of his level of talent, and I think the same applies to Peter Cetera, so I really enjoy hearing the songs featuring their voices on this CD.
