Title: Roku Streambar Pro Is Top Notch!
Review: I recently purchased the Roku Streambar Pro to breathe new life into an old TCL Roku TV. The TV’s original Roku OS had become painfully slow, so I needed a solution to enhance both the streaming experience and the sound quality—and the Streambar Pro delivered perfectly on both fronts.Seamless Streaming Upgrade:The Streambar Pro combines the best of Roku’s streaming capabilities with a powerful soundbar in one sleek package. Once the TV boots up, the connection seamlessly switches to the Streambar, and from there, Roku’s intuitive interface takes over. The streaming experience is lightning-fast compared to my old TV’s sluggish OS, and I can easily navigate between apps like Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ without any lag.Impressive Audio Quality:The audio upgrade was equally impressive. Right out of the box, the Streambar Pro delivered rich, room-filling sound with a noticeable boost in clarity, especially in dialogue-heavy scenes and action sequences. Unlike some budget soundbars that feel tinny or flat, this one provides balanced highs, mids, and deep bass, transforming even my most basic TV setup into a more immersive home theater experience. For those looking to expand their audio system, the Streambar Pro supports pairing with other Roku wireless speakers and subwoofers, allowing for a fuller surround sound effect. It’s a great option if you want to build up your audio setup over time without investing in a separate home theater system immediately.Additional Features:Another standout feature is the ability to connect via Bluetooth, so even when I'm not watching TV, I can easily play music or podcasts from my phone. The handy “find your remote” feature is also a nice touch, especially if you frequently misplace remotes (like I do).The included cables make the setup foolproof. Roku even included extra digital audio cables for those without an ARC HDMI port, which shows attention to detail in ensuring the device works with a wide variety of setups.Build Quality and Value:Compared to other soundbars I’ve tried, the Roku Streambar Pro feels exceptionally well-built. The solid construction is a step up from the cheap plastic feel I’ve experienced with competitor models, and it adds to the premium aesthetic. I could also mount the soundbar easily using an inexpensive third-party mount, and it now looks sleek and perfectly integrated into my entertainment setup.A Roku Fan’s PerspectiveAs someone who owns multiple Roku products—including five Roku TVs, three streaming sticks, and now two Streambars—I can confidently say that the Streambar Pro upholds Roku’s standard for quality. The interface is intuitive, everything works seamlessly, and the pricing is competitive considering the performance. The smaller Roku Streambar I bought for another aging TV has been equally impressive, proving that Roku continues to deliver excellent, affordable products. Whether upgrading an old TV or just looking for a cost-effective way to enhance your streaming and audio, the Roku Streambar Pro is a fantastic investment.

Title: 5.1 surround sound
Review: I wanted to create the 5.1 surround sound home theatre experience. This process is a bit confusing with the Roku brand audio products.I have a 75” TCL brand Roku operating system equipped smart LCD TV. With any smart TV with the Roku operating system or an actual Roku Brand TV, the process is the same. These TV models can only support 2 WIRELESS bluetooth audio devices at once. (But the SoundBar Pro, which is not wireless, can support more, read to the end…).The Roku brand WIRELESS sound bar is 1 device, a pair of Roku wireless speakers is treated like 1 device (a second set, 4 total speakers, is also an additional 1 device) and any Roku wireless subwoofer is also 1 device. You can connect 1 WIRELESS sound bar (front channels) and 1 subwoofer, no rear channels.OrYou can connect 1 pair of wireless speakers (rear channels) and 1 WIRELESS sound bar (front channels), no subwoofer.OrYou can connect 1 pair of speakers (front channels) and 1 subwoofer. But I want 5.1 surround…If you want 5.1 surround like me, you’ll need to get the Roku Sound Bar Pro (not wireless), 2 sets (4 total speakers) of Roku wireless speakers, and one of the Roku wireless subwoofers (they have two; a standard 10” and a slim subwoofer thats a 5.25”).I have the slim version so it fits into my entertainment console and my room is appx 25’x40’ and its only on setting #3 and it rattles the room! With that configuration, all 6 speakers can be connected (Roku sound bar pro is the center channel, the 4 wireless speakers are your front left, front right, rear left, rear right, and the Roku wireless subwoofer is last. The Roku Sound Bar Pro is connected to the TV via HDMI-ARC, and acts like an A/V Receiver that all the other speakers connect directly to via BlueTooth; NOT directly to the TV itself. The sound quality is EXCELLENT and the setup process is SUPER simple, once you have the correct devices you want, based on the setup your trying to create, its a theatre sound level experience!Awesome sound quality, nice speakers, easy connections, very few wires, NO sound lag = AWESOME!All speakers have an individual power wire, so consider that when buying (my 5.1 surround setup (6 speakers) needs 6 wall outlets in different places). The Roku Sound Bar Pro is connected to the TV via 1 HDMI-ARCAll speakers come with their power wires. The Roku Sound Bar Pro also comes with an HDMI cable, a optical audio cable, and a new Roku voice remote and with remote sound via ear buds, included.I love Roku brand remotes; super simple to use, they have 2 main styles ( infrared and RF frequency) and as long as you match up the right one to your TV, they are very interchangeable and easy to pair.It really feels like Roku was trying hard to make great sound, for several customer space configurations, and a very easy setup with very few wires. They SUCCEEDED.Both the Roku WIRELESS sound bar and Roku sound bar pro sounded really great for just a sound bar only.Adding the other speaker elements I did, just raised the bar a notch higher with each speaker.Granted, Roku is a bit pricy when compared to other brands, but with the simplicity and ease of setup, plus their support…. Its a great value.

Title: Don’t Buy!
Review: I have owned many types of Roku over 7 years, all have been great! This soundbar is the worst i have seen. It laggs so bad. Some apps like YouTube don’t work most times. The sound is good, but I have called tech support many times they all give me the trouble shooting things to do, just to wind up saying the will have there engineers fix it, but will not follow up with an email! Now the volume jumps way up every other day

Title: Great Sound, but Wrong Remote
Review: Fantastic sound. It really is cinematic, though I use it in a small room. Can't even tell it's refurbished, except that it didn't come with the Pro remote, so I had to purchase it separately, thus reducing the savings of buying refurbished.

Title: Loud and Clear
Review: It was an easy setup and works great. However, if you have a Roku TV, you don't need the soundbar, because the bass with 4 speakers will give you what you really need. Right now, I am set up with the soundbar, two speakers and a bass. The soundbar has you log in to Roku account and then watch your shows through it instead of the Roku TV, the main reason it isn't needed if you already have a Roku TV.

Title: Better than expected
Review: Bought this as a birthday gift. It is louder than I expected which is great. Internet works well with it. Super easy to set up and we set this up with an older tv. So much nicer than having to buy a Roku stick and separate soundbar plus you can add speakers too it!

Title: Remote Control With Headphone Jack Missing!
Review: Be aware the remote control you get with this product does NOT have the promised built in headphone jack.Contacted Amazon product support and my only option was to send back the entire package. The soundbar was already installed so not about to disassemble and repackage everything.Soundbar itself seems adequate but I’ve found my other Roku remotes don’t work well with this Roku soundbar.

Title:

Customers say

Customers like the sound quality and ease of setup of the standalone streaming media player. They mention it sounds like a high-end home theater system, and the interface is intuitive. Some are also happy with the value for money and speed. However, some customers have reported that the remote control doesn't come with the headphone jack. Opinions are mixed on the looks and functionality.
