Title: Perfect attic-mount and performance.
Review: This product is fantastic. Like others indicated it assembles in about 15 minutes and installs about the same. Full disclosure it has been installed for less than 24 hours. I've not not a single drop in coverage other than from the NBC affiliate, which is 180-degrees from the pointed location. Everything has been rock solid and since we are in a cold snap I only expect improved performance in our normal warmer climate. I am in an area surrounded by dense foilage so RF performance is somewhat expected to be limited and I am pulling an average signal of 72 for all stations on a TiVo Bolt Tuner. I connected direct to my Panasonic Plasma, this has a slightly better tuner than TiVo Bolt, and my signal was in the low 80's for all the same networks. All told I received 52 digital channels. I will update the review once I get though all the weather out here I am interested to see if it holds up on rain fade under severe spring storms.Installation was quick and I was able to mount near the peak of my attic for approximately 18' - 21' above ground. The higher the better for an antenna. This design (multi dipoles) has been around since the 50's at least, RF hasn't changed other than what it carries, so the old school tech is probably still the best.I am no newbie to antennas, RF or HDTV. I received my first HD OTA signals in Loveland, CO from Denver, CO in 1999, that was about 56 miles away. I have since relocated to East Texas and I have grown yet again weary of the value from cable television. I needed a new antenna and first tried the generic RCA UHF loop indoor, since my transmitters are 12-21 miles away. I got 2 of the 4 majors and a bunch of shopping channels. It was about the same with the leaf-type antenna. Then I moved to a fan favorite with the model HD-8008, more channels, all majors yet horridly reliable reception with the included amplifier and without. My TiVo Bolt recordings were subject to much interference (pixilation) and drops in programming coverage.EDIT 1/6/18: This has been installed for a week now and I still have no signal fade issues! In checking signal levels at multiple times of day I remain at the same levels. I've watched recordings made to TiVo and still have no drops or blips in picture or audio. The images from OTA amaze me to this day, so are so crisp!EDIT 1/21/18: We had a cold snap and some precipitation which made some programs unwatchable. Blips and drops. I ordered the CM-7777 amp/filter, tuned and scanned. I picked up another dozen channels mostly shopping ones but, my signal is locked at 72 pretty much across the board. I though my picture was clean before, wow, the CM-7777 really cleaned it up, itâs like the actors and actresses are in the room with you visually. I made some tweaks to mounting in the previous couple of weeks without much effect. The pair of products is amazing, and they each can stand one their own.

Title: Surprisingly good. Barely adequate instructions.
Review: Great signal pull. Better than the flat panel type. Instructions are adequate at best. Some parts have to be bent slightly or coerced into their places. Take time and be patient. Good antenna once finished, though definitely indoor. There is some tension on the plastic and I expect it will probably crack apart in a few years if disturbed at all.

Title: Works very well - Instructions are not great
Review: I got a fancy new LG Evo C2 TV a couple of months ago, and in order to run power next to a new wall mount I needed to drill holes and fish romex to it, so now having a path from the attic to the TV I decided to install an antenna as a backup to streaming local channels.Final verdict first - it works great, and coupled with a modern tuner / TV there is actually a guide of channels that I get over the air for the channels received. It shows what's on now, what's coming next, info about the show, etc. just like a cable guide. Digital OTA channels have a lot of extra data in the signal now it seems. The picture on the primary channels (e.g. 6.1) was fantastic - not sure the resolution but I assume 1080 (i or p not sure). The secondary channels (e.g. 6.2, 6.3) are usually showing old TV shows and appear to be 720 or lower resolution, which doesn't matter much if the source is old school 480.Assembly and Install - the instructions that come with it do no more than suggest how to assemble it, but thankfully it is pretty obvious/easy. The instruction PDF posted with this listing is for some other antenna all together, not useful at all. The screws that came with it to mount the antenna clamp to wood are trash - the heads rounded out before I got one halfway in even with a pilot hole.Bottom line - cheap, pretty easy, just know that it's not the most basic thing to figure out. Note that most of my good comments are how my TV handles the signal - this has nothing at all to do with the antenna. If you have a new TV and live near an urban area, you can get a ton of channels with a guide page. Really old TV that has a basic digital tuner - you'll get the same channels but no guide.

Review: From another retailer, I had previously purchased a rotating antenna with an advertised 150-mile range. My rabbit-ears indoor antenna had received 8 stations where I live, but the 150-mile antenna only got 6 stations which was very disappointing. I returned the 150-mile antenna and purchased this attic antenna. To my relief, this attic antenna receives all 8 stations. Very happy with this purchase.
