Title: Bright Lights - Exceptional Customrr Service
Review: We saw these lights on a bicycle in our neighborhood and I knew we had to get some for our kids. For the parents, it is nice because you can see the bicycle from far away and it gives a sense of safety for twilight and nighttime riding. For the kids, it gives them something to enjoy seeing the lights as they ride. The lights are very easy to install and the instructions are easy to understand. The hardest part of installing the lights is installing the rubber "band" around the hub. It is possible with one person but a lot easier with am extra set of hands and the 4 step instructions that come with the lights let you know that.The lights have 2 operating modes. When you hit the button once, the lights flash about once a second. When you hit the button a second time the lighter stay on without flashing. The lights are REALLY BRIGHT and fun to look at. I thought it would be nice for trick or treating during Halloween.There is a positive and a couple negatives, but the POSITIVE FAR EXCEEDS the minor negatives.Negative #1: We ordered 6 sets of lights. (2 Blue, 2 Red, 2 Green) (The 2 blue sets are not here yet so I can only offer feedback on red and green for now) The first green set would not turn on when we hit the button. After a little troubleshooting, I noticed the screw cap that holds the battery pack in was not quite seating the battery pack in place. NOT A BIG DEAL. All I needed to do was put a little ball of paper in the end cap and screw it on. PROBLEM SOLVED.NEGATIVE #2: The second set of red lights we ordered seemed to test fine. We put the batteries in and turned it on. While still wrapped up in the packaging ball, all the lights looked like they were working. When I got about halfway done installing them, I noticed one of the lines was ripped. I hit the power button and noticed only half the lights were working. I decided to try to repair the wire but it was so thin that it was impossible for me with my limited amount of tools so I just cut the line at that point and tied it off on the wheel. I was going to leave it that way but decided to reach out to the company to see if they would swap it out which leads to the POSITIVE.OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! In a world of pushing phone buttons to talk to a robot that leads you to someone that many times can't help you with your issue, I can assure you that is not going to happen with these guys. I called the 1-800 number on their website and got an out of office recording. I left a message and we within 5 hours a member of their staff sent me a text message and an email with instructions on how to get a replacement. Keep in mind, I told them that it was working but only half. I offered to send it back for a swap but they told me to hang on to it and they sent me a promotion code for a new one through Amazon. I received the promotion code got the new one on order.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this product for adults and kids alike. It adds a big safety factor to night riding and they are fun to watch.

Review: I love these lights. Great for safety, and they look really cool here on South Beach and Lincoln Mall, where many people stop to admire my two identical Shih-Tzus riding in the large front basket on my bike. These lights will add to the flair and resultant conversations with many people from around the country and world.Assembly was not difficult (speaking as a senior with a bit of visual problem). Take your time and don`t rush it. Invert the bike. Handle the plastic threads with common sense care. The important thing is to come out right, for which you need to interweave the wired lights among the spokes, keeping about 1 and 1/2 inches from the wheel rim so you come out right. Also, I looped my wire around every 4th spoke for added stability. I have used the bike on some bouncy streets with no slippage, and no problems whatsoever. Good product--and great customer service to back you up if needed! The personal touch you seldom find anywhere else these days. Do both wheels; well worth it. Flashers look better and batteries will last longer. Now I am thinking of ordering a third set for my doggy basket, perhaps in a blue color as my wheels are red. Anyone on the streets at dusk or in dark should have this, and it is so easy to install.And, the BEST part of all this is the fantastic customer service which continues long past the point of sale! I have never seen anything like it--this alone is plenty reason to look no further. You will be delighted with this product and the astounding service backing it up! (Paul, in Miami Beach)

Title: happy customer indeed
Review: OK; so I rarely write reviews, but I've been meaning to write this one for months. I have two of these on my bike - red in back in white in front. I have also purchased a pair for my boyfriend and two more pairs for a couple of coworkers.I bike to work everyday, including in winter since the weather here in the Bay Area is generally so mild, and have been doing it for over 20 years. As I get older, I'm less inclined to take risks, and riding at night is one of those risks I reevaluate constantly.Well, these lights have made me go from hating to ride at night to feeling kind of bummed that the days are now getting longer and I'll have fewer opportunities to show them off.I can tell by drivers' actions how much more visible I am with these lights. They are also super-hip, and other bicyclists, as well as pedestrians and even drivers stop to comment on them and chit-chat. To me that means community-building, probably an unintended but clear side benefit. Finally, since you have to wrap them around your spokes, they're really difficult to steal. Someone would have to sit there for two minutes or more unwinding the wire back and forth, and then cut the zip ties, which would be difficult. Not worth the trouble or the risk of getting caught.To wrap up, a shout out to the manufacturers. The rear light on the first pair I bought pooped out after a few months. I contacted the manufacturer, and they got back to me within hours with a code to get a 100% discount on a new one purchased here on Amazon. No need to ship it back, no hassle, no charge of any kind. Within a couple of days I had a new light in my hands.So, yeah, happy customer indeed. I anticipate buying more of these for friends and family, because they're inexpensive to boot.

Review: Got one red set for one wheel for my son's bike. Looked really great so decided to order another box for the other wheel. I also bought a set of green lights for a gift for his buddy. They will for sure be the talk of the town with their cool new lights. Even I as an adult find them really cool to look at. I would have loved these as a kid. The faster you go, the cooler the lights look. Like a ring of fire (red lights). I would recommend for any child. Too bad they don't make them in pink. My daughter would love those.no idea how durable since just got them and not sure how will stand the rain. Also concerned about them being stolen from his bike when he locks the bike up at camp. Might draw attention. We shall see.

Review: I received my ActivLites within 1-2 days of ordering and I installed them a few days later.I recommend watching the setup video.Installation is super easy.The light cable is thin and very light.I ordered red (red means stop. So I figured drivers would see the red and stop) lites and I really love them.I love that the lites are very bright.They have 2 settings *flashing lights *solid lightsI biked in the evening and I was very visible on the street. I did notice more people noticing the lights which is great!Even though I wear a bright fluorescent yellow sweater, reflective vest, reflective straps on bike/ lights on bike / helmet drivers don’t always stop when they should (like doing an actual stop at a stop sign). I am glad I got these to add more things to be seen.I will update with further use.
