Title: Best Gaming Router
Review: This is truly the best gaming router I have ever owned. It was very easy to unbox and setup. It had clear instructions on how to get it connected off of your modem and how to set it up (either Wired, Wireless or through a app.) The setup was quick and it had you setup all your Wireless networks along with a username and password to login to the router. The 8 antennas on it give great reach to all the devices I have across my house and even reaches out to my garage where we have a IP camera (which we had issues getting connected to previously). When fully setup you have a very neat and advanced UI for the router. You can see all traffic coming in and out from it as well as all devices connected or offline. You can also change the name of the device as well as the icon for the device as well so you can easily tell what each device is on the network. Also the speeds are truly top end, if it says 10GB it hits as high as my speed can go on my current ISP (1,000Mbps) . It was a very heavy price but it has many positives and a great way to manage your own home network.

Title: It also works as an Asus AiMesh access point.
Review: I was looking for a higher end Asus AiMesh access point to bring Wi-Fi to an area of a house with low signal. (I already have another Asus router in the same house.) At first I bought a different Asus wifi access point that sounded good on paper (the Asus ExpertWifi EBA63, which is a dedicated access point). However after trying two different units of that model, it turned out that the EBA63 units I tried made an audible buzzing noise when they were transmitting. So I returned the EBA63 units, did some research, and bought this Asus RT-AX57 Go travel router. I bought this router after learning that it could be used as an AiMesh access point. Adding this router as an AiMesh node is pretty simple, which is nice. It basically involves clicking one button called "Add AiMesh Node", from your main Asus router's web interface.I was looking for a wall mountable Asus AiMesh access point with low or no audible noise. (This travel router doesn't make any noise that I could detect.) Although this router is technically a complete router and not marketed only as an access point, all modern Asus routers that support AiMesh can be set to either of two different modes that allow them to function as an access point. One software mode is called "Access Point", and the other mode is called an "AiMesh Node". I set up this travel router as an AiMesh Node, because the set up and management is simpler than the other options. Also, the AiMesh mode reportedly allows smoother Wi-Fi handoffs than the access point mode.A possible downside of this router model is that it does not support power over ethernet (POE), so it needs to be installed close enough to a power outlet. However the router has been very capable so far and nice looking. It is wall mountable. It offers ethernet backhaul. It can support multiple wifi networks at the same time (SSIDs). I also noticed that the LED light can be turned off in software or covered with a piece of tape, which is good if you happen to be installing it where someone sleeps. So basically, it worked well for the purpose.

Title: Wifi Drops Devices
Review: I don't normally write reviews but I wanted to share my thoughts on this one because I was so excited for it. I did return this to Amazon slightly after the 30 day return period because they made an exception but this router was such a disappointment.I don't know if the hardware was faulty or if the software was just junk but this router could not keep devices connected. I have quite a few IoT devices as well as general of the mill devices like tablets, iPad, and phones. All PC devices are hardwired via ethernet either directly to the router or via network switches. Ethernet devices worked flawlessly (should be standard, not something we hope for in a high-end router anyway but you'd be surprised.)However, Wi-Fi is another story. While the newest firmware allowed you to enable MLO, nothing worked properly. MLO or not. Devices, regardless of IoT or my Samsung S24 Ultra, were randomly dropped. My Alexa devices would constantly get kicked off and an error message that a wrong credentials were entered. My pool equipment which is a pain to power cycle through would not last 3 hours before the connection to the equipment would get dropped. I was honestly floored, my last few Asus routers have been a little rough but none like this. What's worse, little devices like my cat's litterbot 4 or water fountain wouldn't even connect to Wi-Fi. If I used my tablet in my bedroom, I could barely get 10Mbps compared to my previous router. This thing just isn't it.I have a strong bias to Asus and normally love their products, but the last few years have been rough. Between spotty hardware, atrocious software, and lackluster motherboards on pc builds. I'm starting to shy away. I picked up the Netgear Orbi 970, router only, since I don't need the mesh and haven't been happier. Everything connects, no dropped devices, full speed almost anywhere in the house, and I get speeds equivalent to my fiber connection. Hope this helps some peeps looking at this router.

Review: Easiest router to set up. All signals are as advertised and some even more. I used my ax88u Asus as a node and in my opinion this is the best setup out there . Security is what was expected as well. No dropped signals at all. I can go on and on but just buy it you won't be sorry and I am somewhat hard to impress
