Title: Cuisinart - the standard for Quality in the kitchen
Review: Well made with plenty of power, this unit gets the job done, whether making mayonnaise or shredding cheeses or veggies. My mother left me one that lasted over 50 years. It finally died, so now we'll see whether the new ones are as durable.

Title: Great for processing veggies for freezing!
Review: I used it for zucchini, squash, sliced tomatoes, onions and so much more. The side shoot is a big time saver.

Title: instructions not clear, extra part sent
Review: The food processor works well. The instructions in manual are inaccurate when they describe attachment of the universal cutting blade. Blade is inserted on the shorter stem adapter included, not the longer one pictured in the booklet and as described as the "stem adapter." The blade and adapter fit loosely on the plastic receptor in the bowl. When you place the top on, it locks the universal cutting blade in place so it is no longer loose. Unclear why a second, longer stem adapter was included, since all blades fit on the shorter stem adapter. When I called Cuisinart customer service, they were unfamiliar with the problem.

Title: Warranty is non existant
Review: I have enjoyed using my new compact 9 cup food processor from Cuisinart since March 25,2024. Yesterday I was chopping cabbage in the bowl (not the continuous feed bowl ) and when it was at the size I wanted I tried to unlock the bowl from the machine and the handle just broke in my hand leaving the bowl still locked into place on the base. I used no more force other than necessary to unlock and remove the bowl and it just came off in my hand. I checked the website for a warranty and I see that it was still under warranty and there was a phone number listed for support for Cuisinart so I just called them today. Chris told me that I used too much force to remove the bowl and that it was not covered under their warranty and that I could purchase a new one from them on- line for $42.00 plus tax but the good news was that it had free shipping. As you might expect I told him NO and that I was going to write a review of this experience on Amazon and tell everyone who is interested about their warranty. Please, if your are considering purchasing this food processor be aware that the handle on the bowl is very flimsy and yours could break off in your hand as well. So now my husband has gorilla glued the handle pieces to the bowl so that I can semi lock and unlock it from the base and hope it will limp along until I can afford to purchase a better one. Buyer Beware!

Title: Does not chop well
Review: This chopper doesnât work as well as our old one. Our previous model chopped everything evenly, but with this one, food frequently gets stuck between the blade and the container, making it frustrating to use. The container has also become scratched quickly, so it no longer looks as nice as it did when we first bought it. Overall, itâs not as efficient or durable as we had hoped.

Title: Steep learning curve on this high quality food processor
Review: Ordered the "Cuisinart 9-Cup Continuous Feed Food Processor with Fine and Medium Reversible Shredding and Slicing Disc, Universal Blade, Continuous-Feed Attachment, and In-Bowl Storage (White)" which is our third Cuisinart food processor in forty (!) years. This one, however, is build differently from legacy Cuisinart food processor units we have had in the past - and is more akin to KitchenAid products. For those that are accustomed to legacy Cuisinart products, its a bit of a learning curve. However, it does everything we need AND a whole lot more, and we, well, have gotten to know one another better over time. We do make great use of this food processor and enjoy it, and think you will too, highly recommended - enjoy and bon appétit!

Review: I bought a Cuisinart 30 years ago and used it almost every day. Time to update with a new one. So much easier to use and clean, lots of options. Love making salad, just change the blade and create more. This is the best item for your kitchen

Review: I wish the instructions showed or explained better how to connect the top. Example: tilt the opposite side of the top until it fits in, then lower it onto the base.

Review: Who designed this AND did they actually try it?Looks great and shreds a bit if cabbage before it starts jamming upâ¦at which point you are left with a very small and inadequate food processor.Easy design fixes (taller discharge chute and discharge fin taller than 1/16â) - too bad neither is part of this machine.Cabbage/beets/carrots/onions, the continuous discharge fails on everything we have tried it on.

Review: I hate the feeder-chute diameter, and was sorely mistaken when I thought I'd adapt to it.. What was Cusinart thinking? Have they never heard of cabbage? I wish they had kept the more robust, stable engineering of the older version of this capacity of food processor, and instead simply fixed its Achilles Heel (a too-easily-destructible switch/lock assembly made of astonishingly brittle, flimsy plastic).

Customers appreciate the ease of cleaning of the food processor. However, some customers have reported that the build quality is not good. Opinions differ on functionality, ease of assembly, and design.
