Title: Well Built & Reliable
Review: I use this for my EV6 and it’s been great. I’ve had it for 6 months and it’s worked flawlessly. I’ve only used it for level 1 charging and it’s been consistent with energy output. I really like that it’s plenty long, but still compact enough to wrap up and throw in the trunk as a back up for longer trips.

Title: Works perfect for my Outlander PHEV
Review: Plugged it in and it works great. It's much better and faster than the 120 volt stock charger that came with the Outlander. The 28 foot cord is much more convenient than the 15 foot cord of the stock unit. While the stock unit was fine for overnight charging, if I had multiple trips from home during the day (which happens once or twice a week for me), it couldn't add much charge between trips. The Schumacher unit lets me top off to almost a full charge in between.While not as powerful as some of the higher amperage, more expensive units, my Outlander (and some other PHEVs as well) can't make use of any higher amperage. And even if I buy a pure EV some day, with my relatively short distance trips, this charger will provide more than enough charging for me.Note that while the J1772 plug slides in easily, it does take significantly more effort to pull it out. This is not really a problem though.

Title: Charges well, but is a very tight fit
Review: I bought this charger for our RAV4 Prime, a plug-in hybrid. We wanted a faster charger than the 12 hour one that came with the car. This one has a nice long cable, charges in just over four hours (240v outlet), and has a weatherproof cover. But, it fits very tightly into the charging port on the car, and is equally difficult to pull out after charging. It takes two hands. We hope it loosens up after a while, to make it easier. Other than that little issue, this charger is an affordable alternative to the very expensive Level 2 chargers on the market. Hopefully it will last a while.

Title: Better than OEM
Review: Bought this to replace my OEM charger for my rav4 prime. The Schumacher charger has a thicker gauge wire, and runs a lot cooler than Toyotas OEM charger. It also charges faster and has a nicer feel than the OEM charger. At 1/3 the price, this is a no brainer. Great charger and would highly recommend.

Title: Fast level 1 charger!
Review: I just used this charger on a cross country trip where I stayed at a few family members' houses.At 120 volts (level 1) it draws 16 amps which gives 1920 watts or around 2 kW. This makes it around the fastest level 1 charger I have used. As other reviews stated, you do have to see if the outlet you're plugging into is on a 20 Amp breaker and if not you need to dial down the amps in your car, which is very easy to do for a tesla.At level 2 it still takes 16 amps at 240 volts or around 4 kW, making it a fairly slow level 2 charger but being that it only requires 20 Amp breaker and thinner wire it is very easy to install the outlet yourself.Definitely a great charger for the price! Glad to have it in my car for trips for peace of mind.

Title: Mediocre at best
Review: First unit sent would connect intermittently throwing more "Unable to Connect" errors than "Charging Started" with my EV6. Our Chevy Bolt's cable charged the EV6 fine so it likely wasn't the car. Noticed that when it did connect, that there was a click that latched it into the car but other times couldn't get the pistol to click. Quickly sent a replacement unit and it seems to be connecting properly every time. It did throw a voltage error so I'll check the line voltage but that only happened once and resetting the unit fixed that. Once it's connected it's fine and so far it's 5 for 6 which I'll take any time over the previous one that seemed to refuse to connect. In the end, excellent support, material quality and construction given the price.Update: Voltage fluctuation seems to be a real problem for my replacement unit as it faults once a week on average. Wouldn't be a problem if the unit automatically restarted charging after a fault. I know this is easier said than done due to possible edge cases but our other level 1 charger (which also runs every night) has NEVER thrown a fault (in five years of use). This is all level 1 charging since I don't have a level 2 charger at home. But it is frustrating to wake up in the morning to find that the charger turned on for a few minutes and then went south in the middle of the night. Dropping the rating to 2 stars as a result. Problems with unit shutting off still continues and is becoming more of a problem than it’s worth. Looking to replace unit as this one may succumb to an “Office Space” fate! Do not buy if reliability is important…

Title: Improvement Over Factory Charger
Review: Purchased to extend charging distance to driveway for new BMW PHEV. Using on 110V, was surprised to see full charge time decrease from 25 hrs w/ factory BMW provided charging cable down to 16 hrs top on full charge. Also connects w/ BMW charging system immediately, & 100% of time. Factory cable takes longer to start charging & occasionally wouldn’t charge so needed to pull in & out. Also shows max of 16amp charging at the vehicle on 110, factory max output was 11amp max although the cable is thicker & also rated level 2. Only negative, purchased used to save $, 1st shipment came & someone took 110 extension, returned & 2nd unit came correct. May be worth ordering new if you don’t want that potential hassle. Lastly cable is much lighter, thinner the BMW factory

Review: Tengo un año con este cargador y lo hemos utilizado practicamente diario.La BMW X5 45e 2022 se carga en aproximadamente 6-7 horas, comparado con el cargador de 110V que te dan en la agencia, es menos de la mitad del tiempo.No se diga el precio comparado con el Wallbox de BMW ( la cuarta parte). Con el APP de BMW puedo monitorear el estado de carga y por ende la Wallbox es redundante.
