Title: Simple Mobile is the best I've found
Review: I've been a Simple Mobile user for about a year and a half now, and this no-contract cell service is the best I've found because it's inexpensive and works well on the T-Mobile network. I purchased this Simple Mobile Keep Your Own Phone 3-in-1 Prepaid SIM Kit for my daughter to use with her iPhone SE after Virgin Mobile increased her monthly bill.Adding this SIM to an existing phone to use with Simple Mobile is easy to do, but you should check with Simple Mobile online to see if your phone is compatible first. If it is, you can port over your current phone number to Simple Mobile via their website and in a matter of hours, you'll be on the Simple Mobile network.I like that I can get a discount by setting up auto-pay on the Simple Mobile website. Right now I pay less than twenty-two dollars a month for 3 GB of data, with unlimited talk and text. I can also use my iPhone 8 (unlocked) and use the Wifi calling feature when my cell reception is spotty - which is rare on the T-Mobile network.Simple Mobile offers great monthly plan pricing, excellent service and both a website and app that are easy to use. Tech support has been responsive when I've had to use it and I've not had any surprises on my bill as they warn me when the billing is about to occur.Excellent! Highly recommend switching to this provider.NOTE: Activating this SIM will provide some buyers with a twenty-five dollar Amazon gift card if done in the time laid out by the offer.

Title: cheap SIM for affordable prepaid phone service
Review: bought this regular-size SIM card for SIMPLE Mobile from amazon third-party marketplace seller "Battery Juice" for under a buck plus shipping & handling. received the SIM card in about four days. got the SIM card for my iPhone 4 and therefore had to cut it down to the size of a microSIM card using a sim card cutter. had to first unlock my AT&T iPhone (see Factory Unlock for Iphone 4/4s/5 here on amazon for five bucks) to get the iPhone to work on SIMPLE Mobile which is a MVNO using Tmobile as the underlying cellular network. then went to the mysimplemobile website, activated the sim, got the $40 service for unlimited voice, text, data, and it works. (to get cellular internet to work, first while your iPhone is on wifi, go to the unlockit co nz website to set up an APN profile for SIMPLE Mobile on the iPhone.) 3G that is compatible with iPhone is starting to show up in San Diego, but if Tmobile hasn't transitioned its towers in your neighborhood yet, then you may only get 2G with the "E" in the top status bar if you have an iPhone. to get some sort of idea if iphone-compatible 3G is in your area at all, go see the map of "sightings of t-mobile 3G" on the website at airportal dot de. if you have an android phone, then you shouldn't have these current iPhone issues which should hopefully be all cleared up sometime in 2013 since Tmobile will soon be selling iPhones. but if you have an iPhone and want Tmobile, yet want something more than the $30 Tmobile plan that has only 100 minutes voice although unlimited txts and unlimited data, then SIMPLE Mobile with unlimited voice, text, and data for $40 is worth the cost. (note: the "unlimited" data is said to actually have a cap of two gigabytes, and therefore you may NOT want to do any tethering or anything that requires a constant connection which are against the SIMPLE Mobile terms & conditions; so, "unlimited" data for internet seems to mean unlimited access but not unlimited bandwidth.) of course, you first have to get a nice cheap SIM card to use SIMPLE Mobile. that's where the cheap purchase of this SIM card for a buck (plus S&H) is very much worth the cost.

Title: Not a Fan of SM
Review: Wanted a simple cell phone, not smartphone, for my wife as she just talks - no data - no text. So I went to Wall Mart and got a Samsung flip phone then came to Amazon - where I seem to buy most everything and after a bit of research decided to go for this SIM.This was a mistake. First, when the SIM arrived I went online to create my account and enter my payment info. Filled out the online form and at the very bottom was a button for create account - which I did. This was my first mistake. I should have read the whole page but was so caught up in the sign up process I just assumed it was the normal legal mumbo jumbo. To their credit they did have a sentence on the far right in red which contrasted the green type. Unfortunately when caught up in filling out the form, adding the various SIM card ID numbers and phone ID numbers etc. that didn't catch my eye UNTIL AFTER I had created my account -which creates my new phone number. What I wanted to do was port over the old number to this new phone. So I'll take the blame for this, BUT I'm betting this could have happened to others too. A simple solution would have been to put that PORTING statement with the PORTING 800# on the PRECEEDING page BEFORE a new customer gets to the form. Having said that, I'll take the hit for this. The next hit is theirs though. Go to their Phone Plans Page and there is not any reference that the $25 plan is a short term 15 day plan. Yes, there is a note on their main page, but not on their plan page, nor on their plan drop down box when choosing your plan. Of course I signed up for the $25 plan which doesn't include unlimited data. Then, I receive the welcome e-mail and low and behold along comes the 15 day description.I called SM and talked to their rep. When I explained I really wanted our old phone number, she said all I had to do was wait 15 days and then order another SIM and sign up again.Well, that's all it took for me.This was a great $25 lesson on how a company really doesn't give a S$%&* about us - the customer. They just set up their process and if you are smart enough or lucky enough, or actually want to spend the time calling a rep - you can probably get set up fine.Didn't work for me though. So I'm returning my phone and went online to TMobile and ordered the same phone with SIM for half and will order TMobils $30 plan for 1500 minutes. When that arrives I will simply transfer her number via our current TM account and be back in business. This seems to confirm what I tell my friends, that the older I get - the less I know.
