Title: EV charging made easy
Review: This unit affordably got me charging my EV while I waited for my electrician to work me into his busy schedule. Also it will allow me to use an RV pedestal/service box with plugs for my EV, my RV, and a 120V convenience outlet when my electrician is available to install that service.A 5' length of 2-2-2-4 cable, a 50A circuit breaker, and a 240V outlet from the orange store got my EV going. DO NOT TRY THIS WITHOUT DETAILED ELECTRICITY UNDERSTANDING AND THE NECESSARY TOOLS - - 240V CAN KILL YOU!However, your electrician can get you set up quickly this way until they can do the permanent installation up-to-code.The real-time information on the display is useful (it showed me that there is more variation in the service voltage than I expected) and you can adjust the current/rate of charge by simply pressing the single button on startup of charging.I'm thoroughly impressed by this charger and very satisfied with it. It is supposed to be weatherproof but I haven't tested that yet.

Title: Cuts 120v Charging by 80%
Review: Haven't had any issues with it yet, but cheaper than the mall mounted ones and works great. With stock 120v charger, 10 hours for full charge on cx90. With this, 2 hours max.

Review: Charger is working great. Charging 5x to 6z faster than 120v.My only issues were with the hardware (screws) broke and stripped when trying to screw into wall studs. Had to use tradition deck screws.

Title: Great charger
Review: I have 3 electric vehicles (Tesla, Ford, GM) and have OEM chargers for all of them. This is the only one that allows device (EVSE) level adjustment of the amperage (Tesla lets me do it via app, but only for the Tesla...out of luck with Ford and GM if using Tesla charger). It works great for all vehicles and does exactly as advertised, and at a price 80% less than Tesla, Ford and GM charge for theirs. This is a great solution for anyone that needs a charger and wants one that is adjustable.Two complaints: offer different 240v outlet options that can be removed/swapped, for a good price (I use an adapter to go from NEMA 14-50 to 14-30r... it's just awkward). Second, screen is nearly impossible to read in direct sunlight.

Title: Hesitant and Pleased
Review: I ran into a situation where I was on vacation and I didn't have a way to charge without driving a literal 30 minutes to the nearest charging station. I soon learned that the house where I was staying had a 240V hook up in the garage. I did some quick research and had this EV charger shipped to my location. It arrived on-time and I couldn't be more pleased.Here's why. The cord is lengthy, so it stretched out of the garage (which was full of garage stuff) and reached to my vehicle. One of the things I was concerned about was that none of the chargers that could be delivered via Prime allowed for an amperage step-down. The reason this matters is that the 240V outlet in the garage was rated for 30A. I needed to find a charger that would not exceed that amperage.I came across this charger and it works great! I was able to adjust the amperage down from 32A to 24A, which is great for 30A receptacle. One thing to consider is to be sure which connector you have. This garage had a NEMA 14-30R connection, where the bottom prong is shaped at a 90 degree angle to the left. This prong is compatible with NEMA 14-30P connections.Therefore, I bought a converter that allowed for a NEMA 14-30R wall connection and it allowed for the NEMA14-50 connection that comes with this Level 2 charger. All that say: just be aware of the receptacle you have. If it's not compatible, just purchase a converter and you should be good to. Just be aware of the amperage on the charger!

Review: This Level 2 EV Charger has been a fantastic upgrade for charging my EV! With the 32A and 240V setup, it provides a fast and reliable charge, cutting down the time significantly compared to a Level 1 charger. The NEMA 14-50 plug makes it easy to connect, and the 7.68kW output is perfect for getting a full charge overnight. It’s also portable, so I can take it on trips, which is super convenient. The only minor drawback is that the cable could be a bit longer for more flexibility in parking, but overall, it’s a great charger and well worth the investment
