Title: Works really well, recommended by my dentist.
Review: I love the quad pacer feature on here and the vibrations feel soothing and cleansing on my gums. The color is really pretty also, which makes that an added benefit. The battery charger is nice, no need to constantly replace actual batteries. I havenât traveled with it yet but I know itâll be just fine in that situation also. I love this toothbrush. And itâs fairly lightweight but feels sturdy in my grasp. I should never have waited this long to buy this. And at that price point, itâs the perfect toothbrush. Definitely order if youâre in need of a new one or if youâre still using a manual. This thing is amazing.

Title: Sometimes "name-brand" is worthwhile!
Review: I knew an automatic brush would make a difference, but I wanted to be sure that the "sonic" vibrations were truly product tested from a dental hygiene perspective rather than just a gimmick. So I splurged the extra $20 or so for a Philips "Sonicare" brand brush, assuming their R&D would be diligent and their product support would be robust.I did the same for the brush heads.. which hurt even more as I have to get new ones something like twice a year (for the three packs offered through Philips). While I've never tried the off-brand options, this is something I didn't want to compromise on, hygienically. Not to mention, dental work is a lot more expensive than an extra $40 a year on the "genuine" brush heads versus brands that claim to fit just fine- which do feel pretty great on the teeth (when compared to manual brushes I've needed to use in a pinch). And so, to close this saga out and bring us home, I've now just gotten my chance to test their product specialist system as my toothbrush has encountered an issue turning on (related to the single start button on the unit becoming worn down with normal, as-directed use). And while, I'm not thrilled that I'm having to brush my teeth manually in the interim (which actually does suck after going automatic), Philips has worked with me over chat to arrange for a replacement brush! My device seems to have warranty protection beyond the first year May 2023-Sept 2024Are there things I would change about their warranty services? Yes- not a huge fan of reiterating what I've tried and know the issue to be, but I get that they have a script. Did I ultimately get my issue resolved.. also YES! So now I am expecting a new replacement device..and that's how I SAVED money splurging on the name brand. (4.5/5 stars, to be specific!)

Title: Works As Expected, Real Clean Feeling
Review: Updating 10/2: misspokeâC2 brush heads are Not Diamond CleanPros:Had also tried highly rated Oral B e-brush but kept this Philips Sonicare b/c:1. sound is not a rumbling like a dentist's old style drill (higher pitch, which might bother some)2. 2 min timer with beeps every 30 seconds--makes it easier to know which areas of mouth/teeth to brush and for how much time3. using the C2 brush head, teeth feel real clean, much better than using a manual brush.Con:No AC transformer accompanies the Sonicare e-brush. You have to contact Philips Customer Service, who will send one.

Title: Great Clean, But Not the Most Durable
Review: This is my third version of this toothbrush, and I love it for the price! It cleans *extremely* well and leaves my teeth feeling super fresh. The only downside is that they donât seem to last very long and can break pretty easily. Still, for how well it works, I keep coming back to it. Just be prepared to replace it after a while!

Title: Teeth are clean
Review: My old Sonicare died so I ordered this one. It works well - teeth are clean. It has 4 section timers so each side, top and bottom gets the same attention. Not sure I'd ever need the softer vibration because I always use the harder one. It seems to run out of charge much more quickly than ones I've had previously, but it's easy enough to plug in to charge.

Title: Not as weak as they say
Review: This is my 1st electric toothbrush. I ordered it over the oral b smart 1500 because it's cheaper and I found more people who swear by it than oral b. Later on, I read comments where people who have this 4100 for 10+ years say that the newer 2021 version has only half the power of the old version. Someone on reddit showed images of the inside of the new and old versions and the new version has a small plastic toy-like motor, while the old version has a big copper-wrapped motor and an old version user said "now I understand why the new version is lighter and less powerful".I was disappointed on the new version and tried to cancel the order but I couldn't. Once it came, I decided to try it and to my surprise, it brushes my teeth way better than my manual soft-bristled and hard-bristled toothbrushes(I use both manual brushes daily compared to my daily usage of the electric toothbrush 4100 C2 head of medium bristles. If you have gum sensitive issue, buy the S sensitive or G2 optimal brush head. If you want hard-bristled, buy W diamondclean brush head).I don't know how good the old version was but this newer version definitely brushes better than any manual toothbrush unfortunately it doesn't not come with a travel case.Update 5/16/2024: I bought the Oral B smart 1500 because it was on sale and I wanted to see how better it is compared to the sonicare. The oral B package looks nicer and bigger than the Sonicare but upon opening the smart 1500 package, I saw hair all over the toothbrush. I did read many customers saying on reddit that their Oral b toothbrush were repackaged, but I can't believe I'm a victim of this nastiness. It also took 2 weeks to reach me from Hawaii and since it says "made in China", I think the seller is located in China.I'll return this and I'll advise you to buy the Sonicare instead of the oral b if you don't want to be cheated receiving a used-repackaged toothbrush.Update 05/22/2024: On 05/17/24, I bought the Oral b smart clean 360 which has exact power as the smart 1500 that I returned but the smart 360 has 5 modes and a button to change the mode while the smart 1500 has 3 modes and no button to switch between the modes. The advantage of the oral b smart clean 360 is that the brush heads cost is cheaper than the Sonicare 4100 and I find it better at whitening my teeth than the Sonicare. That's all the advantages there. The things that I don't like with it are many, so I'm just going to name the most annoying ones:1) The brush heads are too big compared to the Sonicare(see picture):Putting Oral b brush heads in my mouth is like putting a golf ball in my mouth(my head and mouth are wider than the average US male).2) The brush heads have holes(see pictures) that trap saliva+toothpaste and creates more noise when the brush handle needle rotates in the presence of the liquid mixture, and moisture will be also trapped easily in the holes(most customers complain about Oral b brush heads design. Oral b corrected the needle issue with the IO version but the IO introduced a shallow hole which now traps moisture in the brush handle). When I'm using the Oral b with no choice but to have my mouth wide-open, it forces my mouth to produce more saliva which gets mixed with the toothpaste and enters the brush head and creates more noise.3) Rattling noise: The Oral b smart clean 360 isn't as noisy as people say. It's the quality of the noise the problem. It's a very unpleasant rattling noise as if you're hearing an old car engine with broken parts in it. That noise gets worse when liquid enters the brush head holes.4) The charger is not round like a perfect circle:You must put the Oral b brush handle in a specific position to charge it and if you place it wrong, it'll fall and might break.5) The Daily Clean mode is rough and combined with the big brush head the experience is bad, but the smart clean 360 has more mode which make it smoother and better than the smart 1500 but not as good as the Sonicare 4100.6)It has no auto-stop mode: You keep brushing without knowing how long you have been brushing your teeth. To summarize, the oral b non-IO brush heads are cheap but very badly designed for a pleasant toothbrushing. I won't recommend it if you're shorter than 6 foot tall or have a small mouth.

Title:
Review: I have recently been using the Oral B rotating brush and decided to give this one a try. One of the main selling points of this model is that the brush head does not rotate. Instead, it simply vibrates, eliminating the need for excessive pressure to be applied when cleaning teeth and gums. I have noticed a positive difference after brushing with this device, as it provides a thorough cleaning. One feature I appreciate about this brush is the built in 2-minute timer. This timer makes a signal after 30 seconds, reminding users to pace themselves and clean their teeth in quadrants. While I do like the idea, the signal itself could be more pronounced. Currently, it is just a buzzing sound, which, considering the brush is already buzzing, can make it difficult to determine when to switch to a different quadrant.Overall, I am satisfied with the performance of this vibrating toothbrush. It provides a good cleaning experience and is easy to use. However, I do wish the signaling system for the timer was clearer and more pronounced.

Review: I was skeptical because the head is much narrower than my original Philips electric toothbrush that I purchased nearly a decade ago. However, this one is every bit as effective. My teeth feel much cleaner than when I used a manual brush, and as clean as when I used my old electric brush
Customers say
Customers like the cleaning ability and quality of the toothbrush. They mention it gets their teeth clean and leaves their mouth feeling fresh. However, some customers have reported that the charger doesn't include a plug. Opinions are mixed on its effectiveness, battery life, durability, value for money, and brush size.
