Rival Restaurants

Rival Restaurants is a real time, strategy and negotiating game for 2-6 players where “revenge is a dish best served cold . . . and hot.”

Choose from 8 unique restaurants and 12 chefs as you shop, trade and cook your way to victory. Each player starts with two recipes and works to acquire the required ingredients so that they can score popularity points by cooking. The first player to earn 20 popularity points is declared “The Wiener” and wins the game.

Title: fun and worth the price
Review: i love this game it is so much fun. it takes a while to set up the board and pieces but then it is a very simple game to explain and play. everything is super well made and high quality. its such a fun and unique board game. not super competitive, everyone is just trying to make their food until someone wins

Title: EXCELLENT GAME!
Review: It wasn't hard to learn how to play it, their video was very helpful and if you speak spanish (like me) you can also find tutorials in youtube. Excelent quality, all came in wonderful state, the ilustrations are so well made and beautiful. Such a fun game for friends and family. It's my now favorite board game. You will love it!

Title: Interesting but takes a while to grasp
Review: I recommend finding an alternative to the spinner. It is not a good design. We did have fun playing it but we made some adjustments to avoid confusion. It is interesting to put together the recipes and it is a good value for the money. There are a lot of elements to the game and the graphics are well done.

Title: Lots of fun once you learn it
Review: I won't lie. It takes a little bit to learn this game. But, once you do, it's so much fun. I recommend you learn this from a YouTube tutorial or someone else who knows the game. I learned it while at a game convention (Strategicon in LA, CA). It uses a little bartering to make things interesting. You are a chef at a specific restaurant and are gathering the ingredients to make certain recipes. You earn points when you do and bonus points for sticking with your restaurant's cuisine. It plays well with many people. I don't think it would be as good with just two. The pieces are fun and interesting. Can't wait to play it again.

Title: My Favorite Board Game
Review: Everyone I have shown this game to has loved it. It’s engaging, creative, and fun! It seems like a lot at first, but you understand it quickly as you go. I love how detail oriented the creators were and not only that, but the game overall is made by great material. It is a must have and you can tailor the rules for 2 players.
