"A charming, feel-good story of the ways that devoted friends—and great books!—can change our lives with the summer vibes I’m needing right now! There’s a dose of Susan Mallery magic in all her novels; this one just might have an extra scoop!" – Kristy Woodson Harvey, New York Times bestselling author

The rules of summer book club are simple:No sad books No pressure Yessssss, wine!Besties Laurel and Paris are excited to welcome Cassie to the group. This year, the book club is all about fill-your-heart reads, an escape from the chaos of the everyday—running a business, raising a family, juggling a hundred to-dos. Even the dog is demanding (but the bestest boy).

Since Laurel’s divorce, she feels like the Worst Mom Ever. Her skepticism of men may have scarred her vulnerable daughters. Cassie has an unfortunate habit of falling for ridiculous man-boys who dump her once she fixes them. Paris knows good men exist. She’s still reeling after chasing off the only one brave enough—and foolish enough—to marry her.

Inspired by the heroines who risk everything for fulfillment, Laurel, Paris and Cassie begin to take chances—big chances—in life, in love. Facing an unwritten chapter can be terrifying. But it can be exhilarating, too, if only they can find the courage to change.

“Susan Mallery is a maven of heartwarming summer reads! The Summer Book Club is a page-turner about the best things in life: books, friendship, love, and finding the courage to live our best lives.” – Katherine Center, New York Times bestselling author

Title: Perfect Beach Read!
Review: Susan Mallery delivers another wonderful feel-good story that delivers some amazing characters that I could relate to and a storyline that had me glued tot he pages till the very end. With captivating and relatable characters, fast paced storyline and what' more, a summer book club as main plot line as these characters use messages they find in the books they read to take steps to change their lives in ways they never anticipated.I always enjoy Susan Mallery's books and her latest book, THE SUMMER BOOK CLUB, delivers all the feels for me. From a lush setting to a cast of characters that kept me entertained, I found this latest book to be one wild ride from start to finish. What I enjoyed the most was Cassie, Paris and Laurel's lives and the changes they go for inspiring as well as intriguing. These very different women bolstered each other and rooted for one another which I found refreshing. If you enjoy a great story filled with intriguing characters and a storyline with a few twists even I didn't see coming, then grab THE SUMMER BOOK CLUB for a perfect beach read. Maybe it will inspire you to form your own Book club with friends and family.

Title: love and thrifting
Review: Can’t ask for anything more. Thrifting, wine country and love. Could have a little less of the ‘scared to love thing’ but overall This book was great!

Title: Good Novel
Review: A good read on confusion for three women. They are all survivors coming to a breaking point in their lifes. They face very serious issues that they need help with and they find the help in each other, as they give themselves a chance to grow into loving caring women with men who see the special persons they are .

Title: Predictable
Review: After the first few chapters, you’ll know how it ends. Good character development but pretty weak plot.

Title: Another great book
Review: I always get a shiver of delight as I open a Susan Mallery book. I know the story will be delightful, the characters charming, and the whole experience will be like a warm blanket on a cold day. The Summer Book Club is no exception. This book discusses, single parenthood and feeling inadequate for your children, parental abuse that has caused lasting problems for interpersonal relationships, and losing your parents at an early age leaving you feeling like you have to help everyone to keep them safe. We get to watch each character as their eyes are opened to their flaws and how they work to become better people for themselves and for the ones they love. There is romance, there is kindness, there is awakening, and of course, there is a clueless ex-husband. Readers can count of this author to make sure that no matter what the issues are within the book, there will always be a happily every after. That's something we all need and something I love about Susan Mallery books.Take some time for yourself, snuggle down in your favorite reading location, pour a beverage of your choice and grab a few snacks, then relax and enjoy this book.

Title: A GREAT STORY OF CHANGES...
Review: The rules of summer book club are simple:• No sad books• No pressure• Yessssss, wine!Besties Laurel and Paris are excited to welcome Cassie to the group. This year, the book club is all about fill-your-heart reads, an escape from the chaos of the everyday—running a business, raising a family, juggling a hundred to-dos. Facing an unwritten chapter can be terrifying. But it can be exhilarating, too, if only they can find the courage to change. My Thoughts:As we join the characters in The Summer Book Club, we slowly come to know them and their issues.Laurel, Paris, and Cassie come together in a gripping story of their lives, their history, and their futures.I especially enjoyed learning how Laurel has dealt with her daughters after her divorce and when her ex-husband regularly disappoints them. How Laurel finds a solution that helps them was unique.Paris realizes that her connection with her ex has brought her to a special place in her life since she has made major changes.Cassie has left her family behind on the East Coast and discovers how her inheritance has brought her to new changes and friendships.A tempting tale that brings the characters to resolution kept me intrigued throughout. 4.5 stars.***
