Title: Great Customer Service
Review: The rod broke on the very first cast. However, St Croix customer service immediately shipped out a new one. I’m very satisfied with their response

Title: Impressive
Review: This thing is sweet, I have always loved St. Croix rods but never had a surf rod. Rigged everything up and casted from the drive way and this thing launches a 4oz weight with 40 lb test. I am interested to see how it will do compared to the penn and ok rod I own. Seriously estimated 100 plus yds at 60-70% power on cast.

Title: Snapped reeling in a 24" striper first use. Terrible customer service.
Review: I instantly submitted a warranty claim with St Croix. Their customer service is so bad after waiting a month and a half with no response I found a morning to wait through the 3 hour customer service hold. They were very unhelpful and after being a bit dodgy offered to mail a new tip section if I paid shipping. I'm out of the amazon return window now so SOL, plus missed all of striper season. For how expensive these are it has been a terrible experience. Try a different brand they were awful.

Title: Great Rod
Review: This rod handled everything I threw at it, rod sections stayed secure, a few accidental swipes against rocks didn’t phase it, casted great with braid, handled big fish with authority, I have full confidence that this rod will perform and satisfy for years to come. This is the 4pc 9ft medium.

Title: Largest eyelet on wrong end…
Review: If you’re looking for a 2 piece, beware. All of the eyelets are on the upper half. So, breaking it down for easy travel with line on, the pieces won’t line up.

Title: My problem Is The Vendor
Review: I got this out for the first time yesterday. I bought it in April. First cast, third section just shattered. The page here says I cannot return it. I believe I was knowingly shipped a defective rod. It’s a St Croix. It has a five year warranty. This is the first and last rod I will buy online. The rating is for the the process of the purchase. I’m sure I got a rare defect from St Croix and I’m sure they’ll make it right. If not, I’ll update.
