Title: These puzzles rock!
Review: I’ve always found the Monday and Tuesday puzzles to be fairly easy to solve and fun to do, but could never really make much headway with the Wednesdays. I was therefore hesitant to order this book. So far I’ve worked about a quarter of the way through and have done pretty darn well. At least I’ve completed each puzzle, not all perfectly, but close. I’ve been doing crosswords for maybe fifteen or twenty years and I’m certainly not an intellectual whiz, but have been slowly improving at them. I use only a crossword dictionary and a regular dictionary as aids. I have really enjoyed the challenging puzzles in this book. The clues are clever and the themes imaginative. NY Times and Will Shortz are the tops in crosswords IMHO!

Title: Extremely Challenging Crossword Puzzles!
Review: I love working crossword puzzles. Usually I do quite well with them. However, I wasn't aware of how challenging The New York Times crosswords are! It took me double the amount of time I would normally spend solving a crossword, to complete each of these. If you are looking for extremely challenging crossword puzzles, this is the book for you!

Title: Small print
Review: I'm in my sixties, and even with glasses I have a hard time reading the clues and their numbers. The puzzles themselves vary quite a bit in their difficulty. I can solve some of them, but others stump me. My 91-year-old mother is an expert NYTimes puzzlers, so I often have to ask for her help.

Review: These crosswords are so much fun. They are tricky and I often have to persevere to finish, but so much fun!

Title: wednesday is wonderful
Review: Wednesday NYT crossword puzzles are not too hard and not too easy. "I can always do them." Sometimes can't finish Friday and Saturday and the occasional Thursday stumps me with a word here and there but Wednesday makes me think and give me an ego boost.

Title: The page size of this edition is small enough to easily tote around
Review: For the more casual puzzle fan, NYT Wednesday grids are rated "medium level," and start to ramp up the challenge without driving you nuts. The page size of this edition is small enough to easily tote around, but clue typography is small and sans serif, so Boomers may want to bring a magnifying glass. Typical of many recycled compilations like this, cultural and pop historical references can often be a bit "long in the tooth" so, Millennials, you may want to keep Wikipedia handy.

Title: Great
Review: In terms of difficulty, these are definitely Wednesday crosswords, though there are a few unexpectedly hard ones in there.I used this book while standing in long lines at an amusement park. A great way to pass the time, and a great collection of puzzles.

Review: Enjoying the 'medium' difficulty of the crosswords that are consistent with other NYT crosswords. The only disappointed it was initially out-of-stock and took over a month to receive.

Review: The puzzles are easier than the Sunday times but this book is half the physical size of the spiral-bound books and is NOT spiral-bound. Makes it a little more difficult to use but I still enjoy them.
