Title: A Decent Crossword Puzzle Book
Review: It's so tough to decide on what to buy because even when 90% of the ratings are 5 stars, there are others down at the 2-star or 1-star that paint a stark picture of the product. And those are usually (purposely?) written to use hyperbole, like "the pages are so sharp that it cut my arm off!" Or, "Rubbish!" And that sews seeds of doubt.I'm not Wile E. Coyote Super Genius Crossword guy, but I enjoy crosswords from easy to hard. I'm working my way through the easy's in this book and they're pretty decent. I don't want my "easy" puzzles to take days. Instead, over a nice cup of coffee I like to spend 45 mins or so (maybe longer) completing a puzzle and moving on. That's what I found in the Easy section. Haven't made it to Medium or Hard yet but I think they're on track for what I would expect. The clues print is smaller than the puzzle, but not teeny tiny. I'm old enough to wear glasses, but I don't need my reading glasses to read the clues. But if you're vision could be better, you prob will. In other words, it's fine.So overall, it's what I expected. Clues are good, puzzles are large enough to write easily into the boxes. Each puzzle is on a single page, hence the need to make the clues fit on that page. There are an even number of Easy, Medium, and Hard puzzles. And should you need to verify the answer to a clue, it's easy to find the correct puzzle in the index. So overall, what I expected. Enjoyable.

Title: Not going well
Review: I started on this book a few days ago, and so far I'm enjoying the easy puzzles. I'm not sure about the difficult ones, I've heard that the NYT puzzles can be fiendishly hard to finish. We will see.ETA: Once I got onto the medium puzzles I am bogged down. They are fiendish and I have no desire to slog through them. Live and learn.

Title: Large and easy to read and challenging puzzles
Review: I love the satisfaction of a pen and paper puzzle. There are a lot of challenging puzzles. I often throw this large book of puzzles in my tote and it keeps me entertained. I have a few crossword puzzle apps that Iâve played on my iPad and iPhone but they are nowhere near as challenging and rewarding as a New York Times pen and paper crossword. Highly recommend.

Title: Wish the puzzle titles were included
Review: I really like that this book offers 3 different levels of puzzles as it is nice to have a choice of how much of a challenge I am up for. My only issue is that I wish the titles of the puzzles were included since they give you a hint to the puzzleâs theme. I bought another NYT crossword book and it was the same way. The puzzles in the paper always have a title and it would have been great if theyâd have been included in this book. Otherwise I am enjoying the book.

Title: Print is small!
Review: I love crosswords and this book is well put-together. The Puzzles are awesome. The only issue I have is that the print is very small - the boxes are very small. I find I need bright, bright light and a fine-point pen to do puzzles in this book.

Title: Would you like this crossword book? Read on.
Review: Who this book is and isnât for:If you regularly succeed at NYT puzzles, you may find this one enjoyable. If you like to see how far you can get with challenging puzzles and donât mind not completing a puzzle, this book may be fine for you. But if you like the rush of completing a challenging crossword puzzle, this book likely isnât for you.We enjoy crossword puzzles that may take two or three days to complete. We are fine if occasionally we get stuck and canât complete a puzzle. However, it gets frustrating, discouraging, and unenjoyable when getting stuck occurs with every Medium puzzle. This is what we have found with this book. As we worked on the Medium puzzles in the page 80-90 range, we have come across clues that we get stuck on. After 2-3 days, we eventually look at the answers and have found ourselves scratching our head trying to understand how the clue related to the answer. This has happened with the last four puzzles and it has reached a point where we dread even starting the next puzzle.
