How did we get our start?

Timpano Audio was founded in 1999 in Sicily, Italy, established under the name Tempesta Loudspeakers. For 15 years the company focused on OEM services, manufacturing products and components for many major car audio brands. During this time they built up significant expertise in the engineering of audio components.In 2015, PRV Audio Group acquired Tempesta Loudspeakers and taking charge of all of the company’s operations. As part of its global strategy the brand changed its name to Timpano Audio in 2017.

Title: Big performance small package
Review: It's small. I can't begin to express that. It's the whole reason I bought it. I needed a small amp for my old CJ 7 Jeep. At the price point I was very skeptical but not being made in China was a good thing.Install was straight forward max wire size is 10awg for anyone looking to purchase a wiring kit at the same time. I installed mine on the plastic air box under the dash (only available spot out of the weather). Performance is above expectations even more so considering the size and power rating on this unit. I'm not running a subwoofer only 2 6x9" speakers in the rear and 4 6-1/4" speakers in the front. If I was going to have a sub I would recommend stepping up to the 1000 watt unit (only slightly bigger based on dimensions given)I will update this after several weeks worth of driving. I'm getting ready for a road trip to the beach so it will be a great test of highway noise vs sound system.Update as of 9-15-24This thing is amazing. Wonderful sound quality and even with off road tires and no top or doors I can clearly hear my music blasting out of my speakers. My 4+ hour trip was fantastic with the sounds blasting from my speakers. Previously I would have the volume maxed out and still barely hear the music over the wind and tire noise. Not anymore now with this little unit I don't even hit 50% volume on the quietest of songs and typically only have it at 20-25% with most.I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a compact amp that will greatly increase the quality of their sound system.

Title: Tiny cool lil hog THE FIRST TIME
Review: I really like how small it its. Crossover options are very limited, but for the size its nice that there is a LPF and HPF on all channels, even if they are both fixed at 90hz.Powers my Rockford Fosgate 6.5" component set, and both of my Earthquake SWS 6.5 woofs in the doors. Clear, minimal distortion.The best part is the size though, it's smaller then a thick sandwich on wonder bread. 3"W x 5"L x 2"H. I'll be buying another one to replace a larger, less powerful amp very soon.EDIT: Bought another amp 4/1/24. I decided to run each of my 100w subs on each channel of this new amp, bridged for absolute minimal distortion and obviously maximum output. And....rear channel is dead. No working. Ok, so checked all my connections, swapped the wire, not a peep. I went to maybe switch them around again and I noticed that when you hold the RCAs against the amp it would complete the connection and sound would cut in. Let go, cuts out. Its like when you had a bad headphone jack and had to hold it into the plug.Well I cant do that, when the amps under the backseat in my truck.Returning, hopefully the next one that comes is perfect like the first. Now I gotta dig up the box and packaging, at least the recycling didnt come this week. I had mega faith that the second amp would be fine but no dice. Fingers crossed. Will update.UPDATE #2: Replacement amp works well, all channels. Just like the first. Had to have it because the size is just perfect to fit in the space off the back wall under the back seat in my extended cab 2500. Both amps, equalizer, and all wiring fits nicely. Would buy again.Test as soon as you receive it.

Title: Lost front channel after trying to adjust HPF
Review: I was finally able to install this amp a few days ago (disability and sickness). The amp worked great untilI tried to adjust the filter to HPF on the front speakers. The front speaker output was broken. The switch must have been bad. It is loose and wiggles to the touch. Unfortunately, I was well past the return date. I filed for a warranty claim and received an RMA within less than 48 hours. I need to pay to have it shipped and will have no stereo until it is repaired or replaced. I do not know how long it will take. I will update my review when I receive my new amplifier.

Review: Oh my god. Powerful little guyIm so amaze of this ampWhen i saw this iwhat lime what the heck is thisSo small I decided to gave it chance i installed I m bridging smy speakers. Im running. 4 jbl 2 61/2 and 2 6 by 9 on the backnplus 2 tweeter same brand as the amp. And. Guaoooo the sound is so clear. And super loud i was ahhhh soeachless. Super good amp. Just make sure u buy if u dont have. A.Noise filter for it. U gonna need it. Buzzing sound hoes throut without it i hot one and problem solved. 5 stars. To this little guy

Title: A little hissy
Review: No good for podcasts. The unit produces some background white noise or some kind of signal hiss I’m not sure what to call it. It’s like white noise but it’s probably called some other specific thing, anyways it only really happens when nothing is playing and the amp is on, and when I play podcasts. It does NOT happen when I listen to music. And NO, it’s not being hidden under the music. It stops when music plays. If there’s a silent pause in a song it’s dead quiet. If there’s a long fade out at the end of a song and some silence before the next on on an album it’s dead quiet. Even if I pause the song, it’ll be dead quiet the whole time. Its bizarre. The hissy white noise type sound STOPS when music is playing, and immediately comes back when I put a podcast on. I don’t listen to the radio ever so I can’t comment on how it works with that. BUT…Thing is great for music, perfect really. Louder than you’d ever need it to be so make sure you have the gain knobs all the way down when you start it up the first time then slowly roll them up. Also it can run a little hot if you really push it so take that into consideration when choosing where to put it.

Title: Lots of power!!!
Review: I bought this because of the small form factor. It's VERY small for a 500 watt amp, so it fits anywhere. I upgraded my vehicles sound system and I got this amp connected to a couple 8 inch woofers. Be aware that I am not a professional. My system is not for competition, but the POWER coming from this amp almost blew my two 500 watt woofers. Highly recommend, but be aware that it packs a punch for it's size.
