Title: Great Little Machine
Review: This thing works great. I didn’t realize when I bought it that it was a plug-in, but it’s ok. I’m a homeschool mama and we are constantly sharpening pencils. They come out easily and perfectly sharp. The first two times my kids used it, it stopped working. We think it was because it overheated with the amount of pencils that we were sharpening (maybe 30 at a time? We were desperate for sharp pencils). We let it cool down and it worked again, and never had trouble with it since.

Title: Great sharpener
Review: I love this sharpener. It works great. My students broke one that I purchased before ( the same one), so I ordered it again. Sharpens quickly. It will get hot after sharpening a lot of pencils, and it will not sharpen any more. That's normal. Just give it some time to cool down, and it'll work just as great.

Title: Great Pencil Sharpener
Review: This is a great pencil sharpener. This is the second one we've had. The first one last many years and finally went out, so on to the replacement. It's easy to use, the kids have no problem using it. It lasts for several pencils and then you need to let it rest or cool down and then can use it again. When the pencil shavings gets too full and needs to be emptied, the sharpener won't turn on, which is a safety feature. So if it doesn't for some reason, try emptying the tray.

Review: First, I don’t take time to write many reviews unless I either seriously love something or feel like buyers just need to know what they are getting because I was disappointed, this is the latter. We’ve had this pencil sharpener for about two years now and it still works; sharpens fine, sometimes uneven but that’s not a big deal. It does the job.My problem with this sharpener is first, the cord is attached at the sharpener. You cannot simply unplug it at the sharpener and take it to the trash to empty it. You have to reach down behind whatever it’s up on, desk, shelf, etc., and unplug it from the wall. This probably does not seem like a big deal but if you have it sitting on something that’s against the wall and it’s hard to get behind you end up making a huge mess trying to just pull the tray out. Which brings me to the second problem, the tray you empty. The design of it is terrible. It’s tall in the front and short in the back so as soon as you pull it out with even a little pencil shavings in it, it starts to dump everywhere. I literally have to vacuum every time I try to empty it because pencil dust and shavings are all over the bookcase I have it sitting on.I’m telling you, find a sharpener that you can easily unplug at the bag of the sharpener, carry to the trashcan, then open and empty. For something so simple, it can really ruin your school day.
