Title: - Nice portrait lens for budget-conscious manual shooting -
Review: - Actually a quite goods lens for the PRICE. Relatively well made - mostly metal, easy to use manually. I didn't find any MAJOR fault with this objective. Lighter than expected. Came with right mount - Sony E. Also package was delivered VERY fast from U.S. to Finland which was a good thing. The outer box was handled carelessly, but the original internal was intact. Bag and lens hood were included nicely. Individually, I don't have any trouble recommending this lens for manual shooters. -

Title: Decent image quality, two drawbacks
Review: So the image quality is good. I’m happy with the lens from a photograph quality perspective.Two issues I had though:1. The lens came dirty. I had to clean it immediately and thoroughly. I’ve never had to clean a lens that much in my life, even ones I’ve owned long term. The glass was fine, so after cleaning, I’m happy with it2. The lens cover is for the lens hood, which is dumb. I don’t like lens hoods most of the time, and don’t keep them on. So, I had to buy a lens cover for the lens that fits without the lens hood on. I should not have had to do this. It should come with a cover for the lens, not a cover for the lens hood.

Title: GREAT BUY!
Review: This was the best investment since I shoot Old Skoo with no AF and always been Manual Focus from the 70's yes im old but seeing that many lenses get pricer and pricer I have no negative feedback on the lens it has giving me beautiful richness in portraits and Sports with proper settings on my Canon R50. I have always shot on manual settings with all my cameras.My lens came perfectly packages and sealed very clean and no issues from when i took it out of the box I have seen some complaints that there came in dirty but mine was clean and fresh out of the box ands look forward to mores lenses for my Canon R50! I would Highly recommend to anyone trying to save on the high end cost lense. I waited a month to post a review on this lense to use it for everyday shooting and have to say best investment ever made!

Title: Capable lens, inadequate structure
Review: The lens is fully capable of some nice and very easy bocah, however simply packing it in my bag, flying to another state, and simply turning the FN ring, I hear a slight plastic snap noise, and suddenly the lense is barely hanging on together.... focuses when pushed together, but FN ring is shot.Advice when buying this budget lens, get as much as you can out of it before it cracks.

Review: I got the product first come in is wrong size. Not fit with my camera, but after I contact the Amazo, the seller respond almost immediately and try to find out which part got mess up. And comfirmed it's their problem with out any question. And I recieved the new one couple days later. And fit my camera and any thing runs good. But before your purchase this lens,be aware that this lens is OEM one and NO AUTO FOCUS function. Even the camera will not reconize your new lens. So, make sure you change your camera setting to not to detect lens or you'll not able to use it on your camera even the mount is fit. But on me, I don't use auto focus a lot, so it's fit my needed and after couple shot, looks pretty good for me so I like it.

Review: mai fatto foto per professione, era un hobby come altri.poi, con l'avvento dei cellulari e degli obiettivi servoassistiti la voglia di fare foto mi è progressivamente passata del tutto. tempo fa ho ritrovato in un cassetto una canon eos con ottiche originali e uno zoom 18/135, dimenticata completamente. mi sono detto: vale la pena buttarla?no, ma riprovare a fotografarci, con tutte le diavolerie elettroniche che ci sono, è stato un disastro totale.allora, ravanando sul sito, in cerca di un 85mm fisso ho trovato quest'obiettivo cinese, dal costo irrisorio (rispetto agli omologhi brandizzati). ordinato e montato, è andato subito tutto liscio.finalmente, sulla macchinetta devo solo impostare raw, regolare iso e tempo di scatto! il resto si fa a mano e se sbaglio è colpa mia!in realtà, a fotografare in manuale, bisogna ri-prenderci la mano e ricordarsi (per i più vecchi) dell'empirico triangolo delle esposizioni: con quello in mente, si riesce a ottenere cose impossibili con le robe elettroniche, anche con le assistenze disattivate.soprattutto si possono staccare gli occhi dal display e ritornare a guardare il mondo vero, quello tridimensionale.rimane il problema a monte della correzione delle immagini a livello software, non sarà mai come con il vecchio rullino e l'ingranditore, soprattutto il b/n. ma la soddisfazione di giocare con i piani e le sfocature non me la leva nessuno.per ora la lente funziona bene, il meccanismo è fluido e preciso. forse un pelino di aberrazione cromatica con certe combinazioni (ma succede anche con altri prodotti), non m'interessa più di tanto.per giocare -ripeto- è un coso perfetto.
