Title: My 2 cents
Review: This is a great example of a classic clutch Mech. And anybody that knows anything about Mechs also knows that this design âisâ and always will be the best (Go To) form when you need to mix comfort, grip, and simplicity, in a streamlined pencil. Now I have read a couple reviews on this mech that feels it fell short of what they were expecting. First off, this mech only falls short if you were expecting it to actually draw for you. Or was you expecting it to cook you a dinner? Listen, this is a fine pencil. If you have issues with it, then you really need to work on your own skills. I would definitely place this mech in par with the âKoh-I-Noor Rapid-O-Maticâ line of Mechs, and would make a great partner piece for that set. The âUniâ Mitsubishi brand pencils have always been a champion in the ring. This 2.0 Uni feels great in the hand. It has a very nice metal grip. Yes, the body is plastic, but this isnât a cheap plastic here. This is a nice plastic that will last for decades. The clip feels firm/sturdy for those that care about that, though I feel thatâs a futile point. The âmetalâ clutch feels very strong and I havenât noticed any lead slipping while adding excessive vertical pressure. You would break the lead before the clutch grip would fail. Anybody adding that much pressure should really think about buying more B scale leads and dropping those H scales in a drawer some place. Now, you should always choose a pencil that best suits your needs and feels more comfortable in your hand. Everybody will have a personal preference when it comes to what feels better. But this mech is the all around best design in general. Plus itâs made by a premium brand name that I feel never fails me. And this pencil isnât very expensive when you compare the prices on a lot of the best Mechs on the market. Most of the greatest mechanical pencils will run you 10 to 50 dollars. Some very good ones even being priced as low as 6 or 7 dollars. So would I suggest this pencil to other buyers? Definitely. Is there cheaper options that is as good? Yes, there is cheaper pencils that will work fine, but you need to make sure the cheaper mech you buy, isnât one of the bad ones. This is where finding a brand that you can trust comes into play. And I know that (UNI Mitsubishi) pencils has been a trusted name for years. I hope this review helps you with finding the right mech for you personally, even if it isnât this specific pencil here.

Title: Repeat buyer
Review: LOVE these uni clutches! The feel, grip, barrel design and weight, balance, as well as professional aesthetics, quality and smooth efficient writing make these a favorite of mine. I would REALLY like to see a clutch pencil for 1.3mm lead. 1.3 is a very nice size also, but I only find pencils that click as opposed to clutch style. Of course it would be more fragile, but I am certain it could be done. Anyway, Uni clutches are great! I have purchased several just for the selection. None of them have ever broken.

Title: Carpentry, Painting, anime sketches, all of it
Review: I will be totally honest. I've bought two of these. One for me, an anime/manga inspired artist, and one for my sister, a painter who uses canvas and POSCA. This lead holder serves us both well for our purposes. Her lead is soft enough to sketch on her canvas without digging in, mine is harsh enough to leave a good mark on my paper.

Title: Very good for price
Review: What can I say, it's a lead holder, If you like 2mm lead holders this isn't the Cadillac of lead holders but it will work very well especially for the price. If your looking to start with 2mm lead holders this is a great one to start with
